Kimhan, still lying comfortably in bed, tilted his head down to meet Porchay's gaze. "Alright, enough hiding, pretty angel. Time to face the crowd," he murmured playfully, his fingers brushing along Porchay's side.Porchay groaned softly, pulling the blanket up to his chin. "I don’t think I’m ready to deal with Big’s excitement again."
Kimhan raised an eyebrow, smirking. “Excitement? More like he’s been waiting to corner you with his latest stories. Something about a secret mission with a dragon—"
Porchay groaned louder. "Not that again. He’ll talk about it for hours!”
Kimhan’s smirk widened. “Don’t worry about Big. I’ll take care of him.” He threw the blanket aside and shifted, sitting up and stretching his arms before turning back to Porchay. "But first..." His grin turned mischievous.
Porchay narrowed his eyes suspiciously. “First, what?”
Kimhan’s arms moved with surprising speed, scooping Porchay up in one fluid motion. He held Porchay securely in his arms, bridal-style. “First, we make a grand entrance.”
Porchay yelped, instinctively wrapping his arms around Kimhan’s neck. “Kim! Put me down! I can walk just fine!”
“Sure, you could walk,” Kimhan said, pretending to consider it, “but would it be as dramatic? Think of the reactions we’ll get.”
“Think of my reaction when I smack you later,” Porchay shot back, though the blush on his cheeks gave him away.
Kimhan chuckled, already making his way toward the door. “Nope. You’ve been officially upgraded to 'royalty treatment' today. Besides, carrying you is nothing."
Porchay’s face flushed deeper, but he shook his head. “I swear, I'll kill you. Idiot ” he muttered, though there was a hint of a smile tugging at his lips.
Kimhan grinned, unfazed. “No you love me. And also yet, here we are even if I'm an idiot for you only.”
As they descended the stairs to the dining hall, Porchay could already hear the familiar sounds of Big’s wings flapping excitedly and the soft chatter of the others. He wriggled slightly in Kimhan’s hold. “You’re not seriously going to carry me all the way in there, are you?”
“Oh, I’m serious,” Kimhan replied with a devilish grin. “Get ready for your grand debut.”
The moment they crossed the threshold, all conversation stopped.
Big, Chan, and Veince looked up at them with wide eyes and matching grins. Big was the first to react, his wings flapping in excitement again. “There they are! Look at you two!”
Porchay groaned softly, trying to bury his face in Kimhan’s chest. “I told you this was a bad idea…”
Kimhan, unbothered, only grinned wider. “Oh, come on. You know you love the attention.”
