Every cadet had left the dinning hall and was at the moment going back the cabin they had yesterday chosen.
Belva had picked up the loaf Armin had put on her table and had joined the crowd. For a little she followed behind the rest before getting away from the swarm of probably future soldiers.
She checked her surroundings, as good as she could with the darkness, returning to the training area.
She was jogging as to not be caught, anxious and having her second thoughts. It was hurried of her to already break the rules. Mikasa would have scolded her.
However, she was hurried enough to already struggle and she wouldn't keep up for long if she went on like this.
Did she know Annie?
No.
Could she maybe be helpful?
Yes.
That's what mattered for now.
The brunette had now reached the big wooden crafts from which they were hanging all day. The others at least.
Annie wasn't anywhere to be seen.
Her hold on the little bread got tighter as she approached the mechanism. She slightly leaned on the pillar, looking around once more.
Footsteps were soon heard.
"At least you're punctual."
The blonde girl was heard and Belva nearly threw the loaf of bread down the ground.
"You're sneaky.", she commented hiding away her surprised reaction.
Looking closely at Annie, she noticed her wet hair and face full of droplets.
"I thought you'd chicken out.", she honestly said.
The brunette decided to be transparent,
"I need to improve. It's crucial that I stay here.", her gaze was low as she spoke.
There was some awkward silence again before she extended her arm.
The little bread she was given at hand.
"You skipped dinner and it's going to be hard in here, so take this. I'm full.", the tip of her nose slightly heated up.
Annie looked at the food and then back up at Belva's face.
"Trying to bribe your instructor is foolish.", her arms were down her hips as she rested her body comfortably.
The pillar was still occupied by Belva.
