I say thanks to Olivia for the ride then head up to my dorm. Me, Alison, Olivia, and a couple other of the dance girls have planned to go out tonight. Going to dinner at a bar downtown, with live music. I'm so excited, I feel like I haven't hung out since before the hospital.

There were three knocks at my door. Ugh. I rolled my eyes and got up from the vanity where I was curling my hair. I swung the door open, Paige marching inside, letting herself in. "Um hello?" I laughed at her, she walked into my living room, looking around. "Why are you up and out of bed?" She asked, walking towards me as I closed the dorm door. I laughed at her, "well I had to answer the door for a miss impatient" I teased her.

The blonde crossed her arms with a pout, "I'm not impatient, wait why is your hair curled? Teagan! You can't go out, doctor's orders." "Since when are you a rule follower? Besides I'm just going out to dinner, no club, no dancing, I promise. It's just me, Alison, and a couple other dance girls, please Paige?" I begged her, with puppy eyes, holding my hands to my heart. She had to give in. "Fine, only if you give me a kiss" she pouted her lips. "No!" I laughed, playfully slapping her.

"Then you don't get to go out" she said, following me to my room. "How was practice?" I asked, trying to change the subject. I looked in the mirror, seeing my Paige already looking at me. I blushed, but I shouldn't have. I can't like her again! "Good but I couldn't stop worrying about you. You never texted me, was everything okay?" She asked, sitting on my bean bag next to me. "Yep" I made the p pop.

"Tegan, I'm serious, I care about you, now please stop joking around and tell me the truth" she said, staring at me. I placed the curling iron on my vanity and looked at her. "I promise I was okay, nothing happened" then turned back to look at my hair through the mirror.

I had a whole other section to do and my hair was killing me. I let out a big groan. "What?" Paige asked. "I still have so much left and my arm is dead" I whined. "I'll do it for you" she said sincerely. I didn't fight her, my arm was so tired I just let her do it. She picked up the curling iron and started. "What restaurant are you guys going to? I heard great things about The Fork" she said attempting to make conversation. "Ah I think it's called Ronies"

She made a o shape with her mouth. It was quiet for a while, a comfortable silence, it was always comfortable with her. "So you should probably apologize" she said, wrapping my blonde hair around the hot iron. "What for?" I looked at her through the mirror. "For not letting me kiss you earlier in the parking lot. I knew you clearly wanted to" she said, her words bold with confidence. "wow someone's being bold" I laughed at her. "We're just friends Paige, remember? Friends don't kiss each other. Wait, are you flirting with me?"

"Will you hit me if I say yes?" playfulness in her voice. I bit my lip, trying to hide my smile. "yes" "good" Paige winked, "then hit me, I like it rough" "your ridiculous!" I laughed at her. I missed how easily she could make me laugh. "Teag?" Azzi bursted into the room, surprised to see Paige in there. I knew I should have told her time and Paige are friends now. "Oh hi Az" I said awkwardly.

"Since when is this" she said flicking her finger between us. "We're just friends" I was quick to respond. She released a breath, clutching her chest. She sat on my bed, "you going out?" She asked me. "Ya, with the dance girls. Some new place called Ronies" I explained. "Ooo can I pick out an outfit?" "Sure" I laughed at her excitement.
