Mai and Y/n were in the field training. Mai tried to strike Y/n, but Y/N dodged each attack she threw with ease. Y/N parried one of her attacks, then went for a kick, which she dodged. She tried to counter his kick, only for it to miss. Y/N kicked her in the chest, forcing her to back up. She then looked up to see Y/n with another kick loaded. She managed to block the attack, but the force from his kick sent her flying back into a tree.
Mai:Gahhh!
Y/n then walks up to her.
Y/n: That would be all for today. Good job you have gotten better.
Mai proceeded to get up slowly.
Mai: Yeah, but Mai is nowhere near as good as you Master.
Y/n: I told you to quit comparing yourself to me.
Mai: Mai knows master but it's hard not to.
Y/n: I know, but just not me ok?
Mai: Ok master.
Mai pouts. Y/n just looked at her.
Y/n: " She has grown since then."

Y/n had a mental note of how tall she was when she was little compared to him, now she is taller than him. Y/n was looking at himself.
Y/n: " I'm not that short am I?"
???: Hey Y/n! Mai!
They both looked back to see Emily waving at them.
Mai: Emily!
Mai runs at Emily jumps on her and hugs her.
Mai: Mai missed you so so so so much Emi!!!!!
Emily laughs while patting her back.
Emily: I have missed you too Mai.
Y/n looked at them as they were talking.
Y/n: " I think this will be the best time now."
Y/n walks up to them.
Y/n: Hello Emily.
Emily: *blushing* Hey Y/n, how have you been?
Y/n: Could be better if I could get a decent good night's sleep.
Mai: Heeyyyyyy! Mai doesn't sleep that badly.
Y/n: Badly is not the right word I would use. Besides that you're 17 now, why do you still need to sleep in my bed?
