Lin Yi obtained Huo Jihan's contact information from the Steward.
He returned to his bedroom and lazily leaned against the headboard before starting to add Huo Jihan on WeChat.
After all, they had never met in person, so calling directly seemed inappropriate and might lead to an awkward silence. Messaging on WeChat would be much better.
Lin Yi found Huo Jihan's WeChat and carefully added a note: "Hello, Mr. Huo, I am Lin Yi."
Considering the time difference, it was daytime where Huo Jihan was, so he should see the message.
Sure enough, after about ten minutes, the friend request was accepted.
Lin Yi's eyes widened slightly as he prepared to type a message to discuss taking Huo Mianmian on a parenting variety show.
But in the next moment, a notification sounded, indicating that a sum of money had been deposited into his bank account.
Five million!!!
Lin Yi's eyes immediately widened, and he sat up straight on the bed.
What was going on?!

After all, Huo Mianmian showed signs of being slightly withdrawn, and staying cooped up in the villa might worsen his condition. Participating in the show, exploring more, and meeting new friends might help improve his situation.
After a while, a reply came: "If Mianmian agrees, I have no objections."
Lin Yi continued typing: "Okay, I'll ask Mianmian for his opinion."
Huo Jihan replied succinctly: "Alright."
That was it; they had nothing else to say since they were truly strangers.
Apart from business matters, there was nothing else to discuss.
Lin Yi exited the chat with Huo Jihan and saw the extra five million in his bank account again.
