The corridor fell silent for a few seconds.

After thinking for a moment, Lin Yi concluded that given Huo Jihan's personality, his question was likely just casual.

So he replied casually, "It was fine, pretty enjoyable."

Upon hearing this, Huo Jihan didn't say anything more. His eyes were dark and unreadable.

The corridor fell silent once again.

Forget it; he couldn't figure out Huo Jihan's mood anyway.

But then again, why should he bother trying to understand Huo Jihan's emotions? There was no need for that.

Just then, Huo Mianmian yawned softly again.

Even though he was sleepy, he didn't make a fuss, only drooping his head and occasionally rubbing his eyes.

With that, he led Huo Mianmian to the room and opened the door.

However, Lin Yi didn't forget that Huo Jihan was still standing at the doorway.

They couldn't just leave him there alone, could they?

Huo Jihan nodded and stepped inside.

Lin Yi took Huo Mianmian to the bed and then went to the bathroom to wash up.

After all, he had been riding horses and needed to clean off the dust.

This left Huo Mianmian and Huo Jihan alone in the bedroom.

Both father and son were quiet, with no interaction, making the room exceptionally silent.

Huo Mianmian was trying to take off his bear costume.

Normally, his bear costume was easy to remove, and he could do it himself.

But today, the zipper seemed stuck.

He stood there, tugging at the zipper with his small hands, but to no avail.

Feeling helpless, he wanted to go to the bathroom to ask Lin Yi for help.

Just then, a figure approached him, and a pair of large hands easily pulled down the zipper.

Huo Mianmian looked up, dazed, and saw Huo Jihan.

It was actually Dad?

Huo Mianmian rarely interacted with Huo Jihan, so he didn't have much of a sense of his father, who always seemed cold and distant.

Huo Jihan's way of putting Huo Mianmian to bed was completely different from Lin Yi's. Huo Jihan's voice was flat and businesslike, while Lin Yi would use a gentle tone to lull him to sleep.

Of course, Huo Mianmian wouldn't ask Huo Jihan to tell him a bedtime story like he did with Lin Yi. He simply nodded and silently climbed into bed.

Huo Jihan watched as Huo Mianmian obediently got into bed and settled under the covers before leaving the bedside.
