'Stay calm, Samui! At least for now, Gojo Kaigetsu can't die... I still need him! '

'And this is actually part of the plan! Since Gojo Kaigetsu brought up Mei Terumi, it's undoubtedly an opportunity for me to make contact with her.'

A strained smile appeared on Samui's face as she subtly brushed off Gojo Kaigetsu's hand, which was attempting to reach a new summit. "H-How could that be, Kaigetsu-kun? As long as you're happy."

"Oh, is that so~? Then, Ai, can you make me even happier?"

"?"

"What do you mean by 'even happier'...?"

"Come with me."

Holding Samui's soft, uncalloused hand-which bore no trace of ninja training-they walked through the new commercial district, gradually arriving at a quiet street lined with traditional architecture.

The first old house they encountered bore a nameplate engraved with the characters [Senju].

While the Hyuga and Uchiha were often considered the top two wealthiest clans in Konoha, Gojo Kaigetsu considered this claim debatable. Disregarding the number of ninjas and their ranks, the Senju clan was the undisputed leader in terms of sheer wealth.

Many of the buildings in the new commercial district were "borrowed" by Gojo Kaigetsu from Tsunade, the sole remaining member of the Senju clan, to be rented out as shops and develop the commercial area.

At the village's founding, the Senju clan, represented by Hashirama Senju, whose power and prestige were godlike in the shinobi world, naturally owned the most and best land deeds and house deeds in Konoha.

When Tsunade left the village, she entrusted these documents, along with the key to her ancestral home, to Gojo Kaigetsu for safekeeping. If not for concerns about appearances, Gojo Kaigetsu would have considered turning the Senju Estate into a Hokage's Residence tourist attraction to rake in the ryō.

"The Senju Estate?"

'Tsunade's ancestral home?'

Samui's heart pounded. Why would Gojo Kaigetsu bring her to such a place? Had she inadvertently revealed something that aroused his suspicion?

Gojo Kaigetsu ignored Samui's inner turmoil and pushed open the door, stepping inside.

The grounds of the valuable property were clean, free of fallen leaves. Gojo Kaigetsu had been diligently hiring people to clean the mansion, as it might become his marital home one day. He took good care of any place that could potentially be his future home.

Following the route etched in his memory, they navigated the winding corridors and side rooms, eventually arriving at what was once Tsunade's room.

"Kaigetsu-kun, shouldn't you tell me now what would make you happy...?"

"Ah, we're here."

He pushed open the door.

The room was tidy and odorless, though a layer of dust covered the surfaces. Judging by the layout, the previous occupant was just an ordinary Konoha kunoichi, lacking the grandeur expected of a Konoha Princess's chambers.

"Let me see... Tsunade's clothes should be around here."

Gojo Kaigetsu pulled open a drawer, revealing neatly folded clothes that Tsunade had once worn.
