Ding dong ding dong

With the sound of the bell ringing the written part of the exam comes to an end.

Everyone has a 15 minute break, before the second part of the exam begins with practicals.

Kaminari Denki gets up from his seat and stretches his arms over his head, after stretching, he  heads out with the crowd of the students exiting the hall, to  grab a drink from the vending machine.

While some students are headed towards the cafeteria to have some food in order to restore their energy.

Denki wanted to keep his stomach empty in order to perform some acrobatic moves on the field during the bot battle.

Kaminari grabs a drink from the vending machine and stands outside the auditorium, where Present Mic soon would be explaining to them about the zero pointer etc etc.

He still had like five minutes, so he decides to stay there leaning on the wall nonchalantly sipping his strawberry milkshake from the carton with a bored expression on his face.

Don't get me wrong Kaminari Denki was an extroverted person and was itching  to strike a random conversation with anyone he could find but he had to control this urge, otherwise he might lose track of time if he engages in a conversation . And he did not want to miss out on Present Mic's speech.

Soon  Present Mic arrives there to unlock the doors to the auditorium and gives Kaminari a look of curiosity and then goes inside to get everything all set.

After a minute or two, Kaminari too goes inside and sits at the very back row seat of the auditorium, from where he had a clear view of everything.

Slowly the students start filling up the auditorium and Present Mic introduces himself, "Hello listeners! Are ya ready?.

Present Mic pauses for the students to reply back and in response he gets  complete silence.

Present Mic doesn't mind this and continues with his speech, the usual how they have to destroy the bots and gain points yadda yadda yadda yadda.

Iida Tenya  abruptly stands up and interrupts Present Mic by asking a doubt about the printing mistake in the pamphlet and very brashly points at Izuku Midoriya that he is being too loud and asks he to get out if he is here to be dilly dally.

Seeing this Kaminari feels bad for Izuku and he did not like the past Iida very much. Denki  preferred the future calm Iida, who was much more understanding  and was like a big brother figure to him, who was ready to help him with his homework or help him study for a test and crack jokes with him here and there. And he was also quite aware of his ADHD disorder.

This  version was extremely rude and worst who would jump up to point others for their mistakes by judging them immediately and bringing them in the spotlight of embarrassment.

Soon the little interruption is forgotten as Present Mic goes back to explaining everything how they have to gain points also about the infamous zero pointer at the end of his speech.

With that they are dismissed and are asked to change into their gym fit.

Kaminari goes to change into one of the bathroom stalls instead of changing in the locker rooms given to them.

He was still not comfortable with others seeing  his lictenberg scars.

After changing he heads to the bus which will take them to the practicals area.  Now the last part of the exam begins.

Soon the bus reaches the battle area. Kaminari steps out with the other  candidates and they stand outside a humongous gate

Soon the humongous gate is opened to reveal big buildings set up like a mini city, many students gasp and awed at it.

While Kaminari pushed himself forward from the crowd and began walking towards the battle arena ground alpha.

His walk soon turns into running. Seeing the enthusiasm, Present Mic uses his quirk to amplify his voice, "Hey Hey Heyyyy listeners the battle has begun! In a real battle there is no start or go. Plus Ultra!" .

With that buzzer sound is heard and all students in panic, start running frantically in all directions to destroy the robots and gain points as the countdown has already begun as everyone's goal was to get into this pro-hero school.

Kaminari enters the tallest building in the set and starts heading upstairs towards the terrance.

He reaches the top, his both hands on his thighs huffing lightly while trying to regain his breath. Then he stands on the edge of the railing

After calming himself. He closes his eyes and tries to sense the flow of energy of the bots in the vicinity and uses his fingers to move in a way as if  he is pulling a puppet with strings towards him.

Then he snaps his fingers and 7 of  the robots burst in the area near him and he could see the black smoke arising around him.

Seeing his strategy working exactly as he imagined, Denki jumps from the roof edge and uses his support retractable rod to help him land safely with a acrobatic flip on the ground and goes running where the massive debris of the robots have fallen over, so that he could help the students who are stuck under the rubble by pulling them them out of the mess and gain resuce points along the way.

He repeats the same process by bringing down the bots and helps those who are injured by either carrying or helping them walk to a safe spot at the large gate which is the only entrance and exit  of the set and it's the only safe space where the bots are not programmed to come and plus it would be easier for Recovery girl to heal them if they have sustained serious injuries.

     Meanwhile in the observation room

Everyone was watching all the student's performances in each arena on huge big screens.

Powerloader smirks and looks at Midnight and says, " Kekeke we sure got an interesting bunch this year".

Midnight hmms for a while and replies,  "The passion of these youths is beyond my words".

Ectoplasm nods his head at Midnight's words.

All might feels relieved to see that his pupil was performing well, he went full smash mode by bringing down the zero pointer and the only thing he needed was to help  Izuku get a hang on the use of One For All quirk as this power was pushed onto him all of a sudden and everything was new to the vessel in which it resides currently.

All Might turns his eyes away from the screen  to look at Nezu, who was staring at the screen quietly.

A silent Nezu was not a good omen

At the sudden silence everyone began to get worried about what Nezu was scheming.

All might taps  Nezu on his pawn and ask, "Sir is something wrong?".

Nezu does not turn towards All Might but rather continues to stare at the screen that showed the footage of ground alpha and says with a sparkle in his eyes, "I want that boy with the electric quirk to be my apprentice".

Everyone in the room sweatdrops at hearing this news.
          
         Well now that was unexpected
