Chapter 4 part 1
Arryn
"Okay..., but what the heck is a demigod Mark?!", she burst out completely. "I learn that my nightmare came true, I was chased by a bunch of one eyed men, who, should I say that we're trying to EAT us!". Mark tried to explain but was cut off again.
"On top of that you came here with a BLACK SWORD, raised like skeletons off the ground with Alexis who I don't know has a knife! A KNIFE! And opened up the ground and destroyed those freaks?!" She paused for a second, taking a breath and yelled out, "Did I mention that you opened up the ground?!"
Gabe touched her shoulder for reassurance and a moment of silence feel among the group. "Well, if your done yelling out the obvious then I guess I can start explaining" Mark said.
NHe won one of Arryn's famous death glares and continued on. "Okay, demigods or half-bloods as we, all of us here, are half human and half god", before they started asking him questions he quickly continued on, "We were tasked to take you to camp and break the news to you that you three are demigods"
"Wait we have to tell our parents the-". Gabe was cut off and Mark replied, "They know already, so it's okay" Suddenly enrage Gabe yelled out "What?! They know already?! Why didn't they tell us that we're not normal?"
"Well because your parents love you" Alexis chipped in. "They wanted you to have a safe and fun childhood before you start the dangerous life of a half-blood"
Gabe's shoulder dropped and his face suddenly looked like a hurt puppy. It's hard to believe that your friends are actually monster fighting half gods and one of them are being held hostage.
I wish I've given them more time, said a voice in my head. Strangely it sounded like Marks. "Did you say something? What do you mean more time?" I asked. He looked at me in shocked, sighed and said "I wish we could have given you more time. I wish that we knew you better and they were so many monsters we couldn't kill all of them"
"Wait a minute known us? You've known us for 4 years! It's okay it's bound to happen" I concluded. Alexis and Mark looked at each other like they know something We don't.
Alexis answered me. "No we used the mist on you to trick you into being friends with us as to not to arouse your suspicion. We've only known you for a week"
I was stunned. I looked over Gabe and I saw his eyes popping. The mist? What's that? And all our memories of our best friends are fake? No that can't be. "No...WE pranked Jack remember? We threw water balloons at him in April fools day and we scared a ton of people on Halloween! We always get in trouble in class for talking and, and you can't tell me all of those aren't real?!"
I was yelling my head of in frustration and anger. "I'm sorry..." said a now crying Alexis. "I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. We are still friends right?" Mark looked ashamed. "I apologize as well" he said.
