CHAPTER 9

Engfa and Nudee arrive at the site visit. They both got out of the car, looked around.

" Wow ! This place is so beautiful, Ms C.A really has good tastes "

Engfa just replied with a smile before looking around again. She admitted, this place is really beautiful and very suitable to build a dream house like Charlotte wants and this woman is really wise in choosing the good location. She must have done research before buying this land.

A few minutes later, a Mercedes Benz EQE Suv arrived next to their car. Engfa and Nudee turned their gaze towards the car, waiting for the owner to get out of the car. Engfa's heart just wanted to be ripped out when she saw Charlotte go out with a man who was very tall and good looking person. They both walked hand in hand towards Engfa and Nudee. Engfa was actually able to guess who the man was, but she was not sure what the actual status was between Charlotte and that man.

" Woahh.... Ms C.A has good taste in this too, right Faa ? "

Engfa didn't answer instead she just looked at Charlotte and her partner appeared in front of them.

" Hi guys, sorry we're late "

Charlotte said with a sweet smile

" It's okay Ms. C.A, we just got here too "

Nudee answered, Engfa just kept quiet. She tried to control all her emotions, pretend like nothing happen here.

" Oh by the way, this is Mew Suppasit my fiancé and babe, this is Engfa Waraha, CEO of War Properties Sdn Bhd and this is Nudee, Engfa's secretary "

Finally Engfa's question was answered. Her knees were almost weak with disappointment. She knew Charlotte had changed. Her ex-girlfriend has completely moved on and forgotten about her. She took a deep breath, trying to accept the fact that it was all over. She momentarily woke up when Mew was holding out his hand to greet her.

" Hi Engfa, finally we meet, Charlotte talks a lot about you "

Engfa returned the greeting with a forced smile

Charlotte observed the look on Engfa's face which looked a little uncomfortable with Mew's presence there. She knew she should have told Engfa first but this happened last minute. At first, she was planning to go alone but when she wanted to go there, Mew suddenly came to her office to ask her out for lunch. Charlotte who didn't know how to refuse the invitation finally had to give in and take Mew to meet Engfa too.

" Oh my god babe, I didn't think you were really good at choosing a location, this location is really beautiful "

Said Mew who suddenly broke the silence. He quickly pulled Charlotte's hand gently and said again.

" Babe, I think your house is even more beautiful if we put it on the right side. Plus beside waking up in the morning to see your beautiful face, I can also see the view from our room right ? "

The words that came out of Mew's mouth made Charlotte just giggle. Meanwhile, Engfa and Nudee in the back just looked at their behavior. To be honest, Engfa was very sick to see the intimacy of the two of them, she sighed tiredly, her head also suddenly throbbed. She wasn't sure if the cause of the pain was because of Charlotte and Mew's intimacy or because the weather was getting hot.

Nudee, next to her started to notice her boss's silence and asked.

" Your migraine come again ? "

Not wanting to waste much time, Engfa continued walking towards Charlotte and Mew, leaving Nudee who didn't have time to ask more.

" Sorry Charlotte, Mew. You both see around first okay, if there anything change, you can tell Nudee. I want excuse myself for a bit "

Engfa continued walking towards the car. Guilt continued to wash over Charlotte. She knows Engfa is not being herself today but what she need to do. This house will also be inhabited by Mew and this house will gonna be their home so Mew must be involved in all the process of this house. Just she was a little disappointed with Mew's overly obvious behavior about their relationship.
