Terrence POV

As usual, Mum prepared for the  day, showering, reading her calendar, adjusting the house decor to align with the concept of Feng Shui, preparing the kitchen for Marinette's accidents, making coffee and tea for Dad, preparing baked goods for the Chinese ink painting class she is teaching later, all the while doing Tai Chi. She books a reservation at noon for herself, Marinette and I at Dimsum Delight.

As I got ready, I looked at the news report.

"Last night, the heroes successfully prevented the explosion of a turbine of a cocoa shop factory, saving Paris from drowning in rotten chocolate."

"It's a bunch of lies! The chocolate turbine was perfectly cleaned!" Man on the TV exclaimed.

I rolled my eyes. "Oh, sure. The amount of bacteria Cinder and I found matches the amount of haters that Alya has been getting on her blog. Aunt Victoria almost got food poisoning because of that."

" Will you start the laundry please, honey?" Mum asked Marinette, who nodded. She heads eads to the bakery and gives Dad a cup of coffee. " Your coffee, my love."

"Aww, thanks, my sweet honey bun." Dad cooes and kissed her.

Mum briefly checks our height. "My, you've both grown again!"

Marinette sits on the dining table and pours milk on her bowl. She shortly bumped her arm on the milk carton, causing to spill on the floor. "Ah! Sorry!"

"It's fine, sweetie." Mum grabs the sponge that absorbed the spilled milk.

Marinette spots the magazine on the table. "Oh, Mom! My shoes are getting too small. Do you think you could buy me a new pair?"

"Hopefully, it'll help you deal with having two left feet." I muttered, earning a scowl from Marinette.

"What a good idea, honey! Why don't you bring your brother and meet me right after my painting class?" She suggested.

" Oh! Let's get some dim sum for lunch before we go to the store!" Marinette suggested.

"Of course." Mum nodded.

Timeskip (Bus station)

After Mum's class, we waited at the bus station for Marinette to show up. She said she needed to meet up with Alya for something, but she never said what.

More like I never asked.

Mum turns on her phone, which says 11:05, and calls Marinette.

Marinette's voicemail: "It's Marinette, leave a message! Beep!"

"Honey, it's mom! You have exactly four chouquettes to show up." The bus arrived and we got inside. " Good day sir. Would you mind if I put this here while I look for my wallet?"

"Oh wow, chouquettes!" Bus driver gleams.

"A few left over from my class. They're homemade. You'd be doing me a favor by eating them, as long as it doesn't hold up the bus."

"Well if I can be of service to a commuter!" The Bus driver takes it and eats one chouquette. "Mm, exquisite!" He Takes another chouquette and the third. "Mmm, delicious! Scrumptious!" He now took one more chouquette and starts licking his fingers.

I chuckled at the bus driver's expression as he finished the chouquettes.

"EHH! I'm here!" Marinette suddenly arrives tiredly, leaning on her knees out of breath.

"This is my daughter Marinette, who I'm certain did not forget her ticket." Mum introduced.

Marinette pales in shock. " Oh shoot! Um well- uh huh the thing is-"
