As Karishma snapped a sharp salute, her voice steady and authoritative.

"SI Karishma Singh reporting, Sir."

Bakshi nodded in acknowledgment, a small glimmer of approval in his eyes. Welcomed her to mission and shared some details with them he left the place.  And now just Kareena is alone, Karishma's gaze shifted to Haseena they had eye contact.

Flashback:

As Haseena hurried towards her house, she suddenly froze. Her sharp eyes caught a shadow moving nearby, and then she saw Karishma, her eyes filled with confusion, hurt, and determination. Their eyes met, and Haseena’s heart sank. She couldn’t tell if Karishma had overheard everything or had just arrived.

Haseena quickly composed herself and slipped back into her Urmila persona, forcing a nervous smile. “Aaa... haan, Chatak Chandni, tum kab aayi?” she stammered. But Karishma remained silent, her eyes never leaving Haseena.

Sensing the tension, Haseena feigned a yawn, hoping to escape the conversation. “Haan, merko na bohot neend aa rahi hai... main chalti hoon,” she said, taking a step forward with forced casualness. But she froze as Karishma’s voice cut through the silence."Natak thi ye sab?"

With a mixture of sternness and emotion, Karishma’s voice trembled, yet remained steady. “Aur kitna natak karengi aap, Madamsir?” She  stretched the word  "Madamsir" with force as she stepped closer, her gaze unwavering. “Yeh phir Urmila?”

Haseena hadn’t expected this confrontation. She had worked hard and maintained all possible ways to keep Karishma out of the mission, to shield her from the dangers it entailed. But now, standing face-to-face, the weight of her choices pressed heavily on her.

Her mind raced as she tried to find the right words, but all she could see was the hurt in Karishma’s eyes the betrayal that cut deeper than any enemy’s blow. She took a deep breath, dropping the pretense of her Urmila persona, and met Karishma’s gaze head-on.

“Karishma singh ,aap yahan kyun aayi ?” Haseena’s voice was barely above a whisper, a mixture of guilt and desperation.

Karishma’s eyes glistened with unshed tears, but her voice was resolute. “Aapko kya lagta hai, Madamsir? Aap mujhe is tarah andhere mein rakh kar sab kuch khud sambhal lengi?” Her tone trembled slightly, but the pain was clear.

Haseena felt a pang of guilt pierce through her chest. She had always wanted to protect Karishma from the dangers of their world, but in doing so, she had only built a wall between them. “Karishma Singh, main aapko iss sab se door rakhna chahti thi. Yeh mission bohot khatarnak hai. Aur aap...”

But she was abruptly cut off by Karishma, her eyes blazing with hurt and determination. “Bas, Madamsir! Kitni baar yeh hi kahani sunungi main? Aap hamesha sab kuch akeli kyun sambhalna chahti hain? Mujhe kyun alag rakha? Hum ek team hain, hum sab ek parivaar hain. Toh phir mujhe kyun nahin bataya tha apne? Aur kyun humme uss gaadi se daal diya apne? Humne bhi apko saath kyun chhattaan se girne nahi diya, apko pata hum uss din se aaj tak humse kitna gussa aayi humse?" Karishma’s voice cracked with a mix of hurt and frustration, the words pouring out like a flood, her anger and confusion bubbling to the surface.

The words hung heavily in the air, echoing with the depth of Karishma’s pain.Haseena stood there, her heart sinking with every word. She had never meant to hurt Karishma, but the weight of her own fears and the desire to protect her had clouded her judgment. She felt the sting of guilt, her chest tightening as she faced the rawness in Karishma's eyes.

Haseena’s voice came out in a whisper, barely audible. "Hum dar gaye the..." She closed her eyes for a moment

Opening her eyes, she met Karishma’s gaze directly, her voice thick with emotion. "Hum apko khone ke naam se dar gaye the, Karishma."

"Hume duniya ke har saza manzoor hai, lekin apko khota hua nahi dekh sakte," she said, her voice trembling with the weight of her words.

Karishma’s heart ached as she watched her Madamsir struggle with the pain she had been carrying. It was a pain Karishma had never truly known, one of sacrifice and love.

But Haseena wasn’t done. She took a deep breath and, with more force, admitted, "Us pal mein hume ehsaas hua, Karishma Singh, ki hum khud ko marta hua dekh sakte hain, lekin apko nahi."

The words, filled with both guilt and a desperate need to protect, hit Karishma harder than she expected. Her eyes softened, the anger from earlier fading into understanding, but the hurt still lingered deep in her heart.

Karishma  incredulous said, "Lekin aapne hum sabko dhokha diya, Madamsir Aap humare saath ho kar bhi humse jhoot bol rahi thi?"

Haseena, her voice soft and filled with regret, replied, "Yeh mission ki zarurat thi, Karishma Singh. Aap nahi samjhogi... yeh sirf mere liye nahi, puri team ke liye tha."

Karishma’s expression softened slightly as she processed this. She realized that Haseena hadn’t been lying out of malice but out of necessity.

Karishma, now determined, said, "Agar aap sach mein kisi mission par hain... toh mujhe bhi saath lena hoga. Main aapko iss raaste par akele nahi chhod sakti."

Haseena, with a stern look, responded, "Nahi, Karishma Singh. Aapko isme shamil karke main aapko khatre mein nahi daal sakti."

But Karishma shook her head stubbornly. "Madamsir, agar aap sach mein yeh mission poora karna chahti hain, toh aapko meri madad ki zarurat padegi. Main aapke saath hoon, chahe jo bhi ho."

Haseena didn’t know what to say. She know how dangerous this mission was and knew how stubborn Karishma could be. Her thoughts were interrupted when Karishma spoke again, a fiery determination in her voice.

"Kya soch rahi hain, Madamsir? Jab yeh jaane ke baad bhi aap mission par akeli jaane ka soch rahi hain, toh yaad rakhiye, hum waho ziddi chhaya hain jo andhere mein bhi kabhi aapko akela nahi chhodenge.".

Haseena, seeing the unwavering determination in Karishma’s eyes, felt a surge of emotion. Without a word, she extended her hand towards Karishma, a small, genuine smile forming on her lips. Karishma glanced at Haseena’s hand and recognizing the silent acknowledgment, her own face crept a knowing smile. She reached out and together, they did their famous handshake a symbol of trust, unity, and an unbreakable bond.
