Y/N's POV
I woke up feeling really tired with Mel sleeping peacefully right next to me, she's so beautiful like this... I got up silently and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and freshen up. God I look horrible - I thought to myself as I looked in the mirror seeing my exhausted face.

I went into my room and got into my bed, since I still had some time before I really needed to get up, I just wanted to be alone for a bit.

"Hey baby, wake up." I heard someone say. I opened my eyes and saw Mel sitting on the bed, next to me, looking at me with a soft expression on her face. "Why did you leave? I woke up and you weren't there..." She said with furrowed eyebrows.

"I just wanted to be alone. Sorry..." I said looking down. "No, it's okay. You don't have to apologize, I was just confused."

"What time is it?" I asked after a while of silence. "It's time to go to school." She said jokingly. I rolled my eyes at her. "Wow, so helpful." I said sarcasticly. "Wow it's only morning and you already have an attitude." She said in the same tone.

After we got ready, Mel drove us to school and dropped me off at the corner as always. I remembered I left my pack of cigarettes in my bagpack the other day, so I took it out and lit one, inhaling the addicting smoke. I let my thoughts wonder in my head as i kept smoking, my back against the wall - today is going to be hard...

Once I was done smoking, I put some gum into my mouth and walked to school. I got my needed books from my locker and went to my first class - Civics, great... Just fucking great, I am in no mood for that, but the teacher's usually nice to me, so that's a plus.

I tried paying attention at school today, did it work? Welll maybe a little, but who cares... As lunch break rolled in i went to the bathroom and locked myself in one of the stalls. I sighed and slid my back against the door and sat on the floor. I thought I was alone, until I heard someone sniffle in the stall opposite to mine. I furrowed my eyebrows, is someone crying in here? I walked out of the stall i was previously in and walked to the one that was on the opposite side. "Hey, uhh you okay in there?" I asked a bit awkwardly. "I'm fine... Thanks." She answered silently and I sighed. "You don't seem fine... Is there anything I can do?" I asked nicely, not wanting to seem harsh.

The door of the stall suddenly opened and I saw a girl that looked familiar. "Belle?" I asked, my eyebrows furrowed, not knowing if it was really her or not... Her hair was different, it was black now and I think her natural color is probably red. "Oh, hi Y/N." She smiled a little, also recognizing me. "Didn't think I'd meet you here." I said trying to lighten the mood. "Yeah I go to school here now... You know, I'm the new kid... Just fucking awesome." She said and we both chuckled.

"Wanna go for a smoke?" She asked me suddenly after a bit of silence. "Uhh, sure, let's go. I know a good spot."

When we got to our destination she pulled out a pack of cigarettes and gave me one of them, lighting it before she lit hers. "So, enjoying the new school, huh?" I joked. "No it's not like that, the school is fine, it's just... My boyfriend is being a prick right now and I'm just fucking over it." She said, explaining the situation. "Shit, want me to beat him up for you?" I said seriously and she laughed. "Yeah I'd really like to see that, you're like five feat tall." She chuckled. "Hey, I'm five foot two!" I defended myself. "Yeah, as if those two inches would help you." She kept laughing and I only shook my head in disbelief playing offended. "Ou, that really hurt my feelings." I said which only made her laugh more.

"Come on let's go back in." I said once we were done smoking and talking. "We're going to be so late. Fuck." I said to her. "Oh well, it was worth it. And Y/N... Thanks for this, it really helped." She said looking at me. "It was nothing." I said before we parted our ways.

I was walking to class after me and Belle separated and guess who I saw walking towards me from afar? Yep you guessed it Ms. fucking Benoist. I quickly turned around and walked the other way quickening my step. "Y/N?" Ms. Benoist asked calling after me, seeming almost confused?

I sighed and turned around. "Yeah?" I asked looking at the floor. "What the hell are you doing here? Why aren't you in class right now?" She whislered harshly once she walked over to me. "I was just helping someone out. She's new."

"Are you lying Y/N?" She asked with a sigh. "No I'm not, you can ask her. Her name is Belle." I said looking at her. "Alright, I believe you. Now get to class." She said strictly and I listened, going to my class.

My last lesson of today is Art. I got to the classroom first today, so I sat at my destinated spot, right in front of the teacher's desk and doodled, just to lose the time.

As the bell rang most of the students were already here and I saw Ms. Benoist walking to the classroom as everyone stood up. Our eyes met and I smiled slightly at her watching as she had a neutral look on her face. Wow how nice of her...

The lesson was somewhat okay, I did what I was supposed to and even paid attention as Ms. Benoist and I kept stealing glances of each other.

"Okay class that's all for today." She said just as the  bell rang and everybody just ran out the door. I stayed seated and packed up my stuff. "So you actually paid attention today, huh? Did something happen to you? Are you okay?" She said jokingly, acting concerned. "Hmm very funny. Couldn't come up with anything else?" I talked back to her as she walked over to me and stood right in front of me as I turned in my chair. She was looking down at me, her hand was now holding my chin, as I just stared at her silently. "I need to finish some paper work and then we'll go home, okay angel?" She asked sweetly stroking my cheek. "Okay, Melissa."

She walked back to her desk, sitting down and opening her laptop, taking some papers and doing whatever the hell teachers do. I don't fucking know...

I sketched some stupid things in my sketchbook, but after a while I was really fucking bored. "Are you done yet? I'm really bored." I asked her. Desperate to go home or do something. "No, I'm not done yet. You'll have to wait." She said not even looking at me, she was focused on her papers. "Come on, Melissaaa." I said, letting her know, that i was in fact really bored. "Shut your mouth and let me work. Be good." I sighed, but listened to her, laying my head on the desk.

"Can we go already? Pleaseee." I said after like another half an hour of waiting, bored out of my fucking mind. "Y/N-" she said warningly. "If you don't shut up, there will be consequences."

"Ughh, I'm just so bored and tired." After I said that, she sighed and looked at me. "Come here, princess." She said in a soft tone. I did as she asked and walked over to her, standing in front of her. "Sit." She commanded, gesturing for me to sit on her lap. I straddled her and sat on her lap looking into her eyes. "You look tired Y/N." She said softly, almost motherly. "I am kind of tired, can we go home now?" I said sweetly, with puppy eyes, softning my voice. "No, I have to finish this, so be a good girl and sit here while I finish my work, okay?" She said smiling at me. I put my arms around her, laying my head against her chest and mumbled an 'okay'.

"Hey, sweetheart wake up, it's time to go home." I heard as I felt someone stroking my hair. I groaned, opening my eyes, seeing that I was still in Melissa's lap. I must've fallen asleep. "You looked so cute, asleep in my lap." I hid my face in her chest my cheeks red, as I heard her chuckle.

"Come on angel, get up so we can go home." She said, helping me up.

I took my things as did she and we walked to her car. There was pretty much nobody, so we just walked together, since nobody would probably see us.

The ride home was pretty silent, since I was still kinda sleepy. "So the new girl, Belle? Are you friends?" Melissa said, breaking the silence. "Umm we've met before, but I don't really know her, yet. But she's nice and she's easy to talk to. I kinda like her..." I said looking at Melissa, but her eyes were focused on the road. "Cool." She said kind of, dismissively? "What is it?" I asked her. "Nothing, she seems nice I guess." She shrugged, but her tone was... Different. "Come on, don't be jealous." I said jokingly. "Oh, I'm not jelaous." She said defensively. "Oh my god, you are jealous." I said, laughing. "Shut up." She said smiling a little as she pulled into her driveway...
