"driver's name is Judith Spivey. she and her two sons are trapped inside the vehicle. mom's unconscious, but the kids seem to be okay. it looks like they tumbled a bit before catching on the brush." the officer explains to the 118 who made their way near the mountain looking down at the car.
"okay, we better get to work before we lose any more ground. Eddie, Rosie, set up the winch. Lena, i want you to get down there and anchor that vehicle. take it slow. too much weight and this cliffside can come down. we don't want that car to go along with it." Bobby explains to his team who all nodded.
Aurelia and Eddie made their way back to the truck grabbing the supplies they needed for the winch. Eddie looked at Aurelia who threw the ropes over her shoulder, "soo.."
Aurelia turned her head seeing Eddie with a mischievous smile, "how are you and Buck?"
"we're fine." she laughed walking to a perfect spot to set up the winch.
"you guys official yet?" he asked.
"no," Aurelia quickly looked up from securing the winch to the ground, "why is that bad?"
"no just wondering. you two haven't left each other's side." Eddie clicked the harness up onto the metal hooks as Aurelia clicked the other onto the truck.
"i don't really know what's going on if i'm honest." Aurelia made her way back over to him.
"i give it a week before he asks you to be his girlfriend." Eddie pointed to his best friend holding onto the ropes.
Aurelia laughed slipping her gloves on holding the rope with Eddie as tightly as possible.
"get clear!"
Aurelia looked up seeing the line quickly move on the ground, she and Eddie ran towards Bobby looking down at the car seeing it had moved a lot more.
"Lena, Chim, what's your status?"
"all good, Cap. the damn car dropped another twenty feet."
Aurelia, Hen, Bobby and Eddie looked down as a piece of the cliff fell, "grounds too soft. it's not gonna hold. hop in the cab. be prepared to bug out of here if this thing goes south." Bobby made his way to the truck followed by the three."
"yes sir."
"we need to clear that ambulance and all nonessential equipment, pull back as much weight as we can from this cliffside now." Bobby explained.
