Harry's hands trembled as he held his cup of water, trying so hard to be careful. He kept stealing glances at Draco, hoping he wouldn't notice just how nervous he was. Being in headspace was hard enough, but the fear that he might mess up or annoy Draco loomed over him constantly. What if he did something wrong? What if Draco decided he didn't want to be around him anymore?

Draco was quietly reading at the table, just a few feet away, every now and then glancing up with a soft, reassuring smile. "Everything alright, love?" he'd ask gently, and Harry would nod, clutching his cup tightly, afraid to do or say anything that might break the peaceful moment.

But then it happened—a small, unsteady movement, and the cup slipped from Harry's grip, tipping over and spilling water across the table. The sound of it made Harry's heart stop. His eyes went wide, and he immediately pulled back, covering his mouth with his hand as the water spread across the table in a small puddle.

"I-I'm sorry!" Harry stammered, feeling his chest tighten as fear overtook him. He backed away, heart pounding. "I didn't mean to! I didn't mean to mess up!"

Draco looked up, surprised by Harry's reaction, and immediately saw the panic in his eyes. "Hey, hey, it's alright," Draco said, standing and coming over to him. "Harry, sweetheart, it's just water. It's okay. Nothing's wrong."

Harry's breaths were shallow, and he shook his head, still backing away as tears started to form. "I-I didn't want to... I didn't want to mess it up. I don't want you to be mad at me, please don't be mad..."

Draco's heart broke seeing Harry so afraid. He reached out gently, placing a hand on Harry's shoulder. "Oh, love, I could never be mad at you over something like this. And even if you did make a mistake, I would never leave you. I'm here for you, Harry. Always."

Carefully, he brought Harry into a hug, rubbing his back in soft circles, feeling him relax little by little. "You're safe with me, Harry," he whispered soothingly. "There's nothing you can do that would make me leave. Nothing."

Harry's tense shoulders finally softened as he let himself sink into Draco's embrace, reassured by the warmth and security Draco offered. He closed his eyes, the lingering fear slowly fading as

Draco held him, safe in the knowledge that Draco's love wasn't something he'd have to earn or be perfect to keep.
