We finally realize the value and importance of someone's grace when they make themselves unavailable to us. We took them for granted, and now we're just realizing how greatly they contributed to our lives.
Why does regret always come afterward? I think about it and wonder if I'm impulsive, which leads to poor decision-making. Or perhaps it's the universe itself acting, deciding what's better for me—removing someone I've grown accustomed to.
In simple terms, it's regret. Regret will eat you alive, especially when, in the first place, you didn't treat someone as well as you treated yourself. These are the consequences of your actions.
