Trust him

Of course, the first place I went to was his apartment. I rang the doorbell several times, but my tense state wouldn't allow me to stand and wait patiently for someone to open. So I started pounding on the door with my fists. Finally I heard someone approaching. Seconds later, the door opened. To my huge surprise, Aylin was standing at it. What was she doing here? Did she really dare come to Kenan's apartment? And how come he had let her in? At this point, I didn't know who to be angrier at, but the fact that we had suspicions against her made me outright explode. I had never felt so filled with anger in my entire life.

-"You!" I pointed my finger at her face and stepped forward, causing her to take a few steps back.
-"What the hell are you doing here!", I yelled.
At that moment I saw Kenan coming out of one of the rooms. He immediately came over to me and grabbed my wrist, pulling it down.
-"Belle. Please calm down.
-"What is she doing here, Kenan?", I cried into his face and tears slid down my cheeks. -'Why is she always around?
At that moment Kenan turned to Aylin and seemed to gesture for her to leave. She just nodded and walked out. That was the moment I collapsed on the floor and began to cry inconsolably. Kenan knelt down next to me and hugged me tightly, pressing my head against his chest.

A few minutes later we were sitting on the bed in his bedroom. I managed to calm down a little. Maybe the stress of the whole situation had gotten to me. I wiped the tears from my face and looked up at Kenan, who was calmly waiting for me to come to my senses.
-'I'm sorry I yelled like that. - I said quietly and moved my gaze away from his, I was slightly embarrassed.
-Babe, explain to me what's going on. There must be a reason...
-I talked to Tarak and he told me that he was able to recover some of the security camera footage.
-That's why he's called me over 10 times. Strange, my phone had apparently turned itself off.
-The reason I was so angry is because actually...it's almost certain...maybe Aylin is to blame for what happened.
To my surprise, Kenan laughed awkwardly. -Aylin? Come on, she can't even kill a fly.
-I think you should see them too. Tarak sent them to you.

Kenan shook his head and picked up his phone. He opened the video from Tarak and we both watched it. He was silent and didn't say anything the whole time. It was driving me crazy.
-Well? - I asked.
-That's her. She's even wearing my sweatshirt. - Kenan said quietly and seemed frozen in place. -I can't believe it. Everything she told me was a lie and an attempt to cover up. - He still didn't realise.
-She targeting you to Karlotta was to dispel any doubts from herself. -' I said quietly.
-'Belle, I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you all this time as much as I should have been. - ' He turned to me.
Kenan hugged me hard and kissed me. I felt so protected, loved, cared for. I didn't want to let him go, but I knew we had to get to the police station as soon as possible to press charges.

It was now nearly 2am. We were next to the control, where we spent a lot of time. We had managed to press charges against Eileen, and now we just hoped they would find her quickly so she could face the consequences.I lay in Kenan's arms, wearing his Juventus t-shirt. I was so tired I could barely keep my eyes open to watch him. I missed being so close to him, feeling his warmth and everything seeming so simple.
-I love you. - He whispered and kissed my forehead. Those were the last words I heard before I drifted off into an imperceptible sleep.

A few weeks later everything seemed to be falling into place. Eileen was detained. Repairs to restore the gallery had begun, and I was much more relaxed. Kenan and I were getting along great and seemed to have forgotten about the unpleasant events. He had a short break from the games and that helped us spend more time together. I hadn't felt so relaxed in a very long time. I woke up with a huge smile on my face next to the man I was madly in love with. It gave me wings and made every day special.

Kenan and I had a romantic dinner at one of my favorite restaurants. He was revealing more and more of his romantic side to me and it made me genuinely happy.

As I took a bite of my amazing truffle pasta, I noticed that Kenan hadn't touched his meal. He had his eyes glued to me. I looked up at him and our gazes crossed.
-"What? - I chuckled lightly and blushed. -'You're so beautiful. - He said and smiled even wider.
-Why don't you eat? Aren't you hungry? - I asked, looking down at his plate.
-I, um... actually I have to tell you something. -' He coughed worriedly and held his breath. He was acting weird. I'd never seen him so worried before.
-What's going on, Kenan? Has something happened? - I asked worriedly, because in light of recent events, I always thought the worst.
He swallowed audibly and looked around. With a gesture, he demanded the bill from the waiter.
-'Kenan. You're already scaring me. - I said to him.
-''Trust me. - He said to me and smiled.
I raised an eyebrow, but decided to trust him. Apparently it wasn't a bad thing. But then what was bothering him so much?

After about 10 minutes, we were in his car and he still wasn't saying anything to me.
-Are you going to tell me where we're going? You didn't even eat your food.
-Trust me. - ' He said again, smiling and starting the engine.
