-a week later.

Sunoo's smile crept onto his lips when he saw a man standing tall with his arms crossed in front of his chest, waiting for someone at the entrance of the mall they were supposed to meet at.

It was the day he dreaded most.

but nevertheless, he put on a smile before dialing his number.

Today's the day where he would help Sunghoon pick out a gift for his sister and they both agreed to meet up at the nearest mall around their school.

Sunghoon was wearing denim cargo pants paired with a light gray graphic hoodie and a white shirt peeking at the bottom. The alpha looked as breathtaking as ever despite wearing normal clothes and black glasses and Sunoo had to think twice about how he managed to pick such a handsome man.

He saw how his boyfriend fished his ringing phone out of his pocket before answering.

[good morning, pretty. Are you here?]

"yepps! i'm walking towards you" Sunghoon didn't answer and instead, squinted his eyes to search for Sunoo in the sea of people entering the building.

"By the fountain" this time, Sunoo chuckled when the alpha still couldn't see him. So, he waved his hand in the air, phone on his ear.

Like a light switch turning on, Sunghoon's face lit up as well, eyes turning crescents as he spotted his omega.

[Saw you- don't run. ] Sunoo rolled his eyes before slowing down and turning off the call to meet his boyfriend who gladly took his hand immediately.

"you look pretty" was the first thing that rolled out of the alpha's mouth as he appreciated his boyfriend's look.

To be honest, Sunoo was just casually wearing a white shirt layered with a brown crocheted vest and a pair of denim trousers but Sunghoon is Sunghoon.

Everyone could wear the same thing and yet he'd still find Sunoo the prettiest, in a heartbeat.

"I'm telling the truth" defeated, Sunoo lightly shook his head before swinging their intertwined hands as they roamed the mall.

The two looked so good that people couldn't help but to look in their direction every time they passed by. It's like seeing two puzzle pieces fitting each crevice.

A perfect pair.

"Yeji found out i'm buying her a gift today..."

"What?! So it's not a surprise anymore?!"

"Unfortunately, yes. But on the brighter side, she told me that she wanted a watch so I didn't have to think so hard about it" Sunghoon uttered monotonously despite the enthusiasm from his words.

Excited, Sunoo led the alpha into one of the boutiques where watches are sold, allowing his boyfriend to take a look around.

As soon as Sunghoon found something that caught his eye, he immediately called for Sunoo to get a second opinion. The alpha picked out a gold watch that had a thin gold strap. It looked normal but when you look at it up close, there are cute little patterns drawn on the base of the strap.

Agreeing, Sunoo found it cute as well before the cashier wrapped it up. When they got the paper bag, the couple got out of the store to roam around the area.

"The keychains! I'll buy us a matching one!" Sunoo gleefully offered as he pulled his boyfriend to one of the stalls that had small crocheted keychains.
