NOTE: This one will be quite short cause I had just a quick idea and I wanted to write it, nothing more.

"Huh?"
"She must be doing some kind of prank or something, right?"
Thought Rin while staring at your text.
And to be fair, he could feel his heart skipping beats.
A sense of absolute anxiety and rage and confusion washing over him.

*HIS CHAT WITH YOU*

Rin couldn't stop going in circles in his room.
There was a "he"? You never really mentioned guys' names.

These past 2 months you and the striker got really close.
You were just a friend of his brother Sae, that he brought home one day.
At first he hated your presence in his house, or the fact that someone managed to have a decent conversation with his so hated brother.
However, you turned out to be funny and extremely kind.
His mean attitude was never a problem for you.
What made him fall for you at first, was probably how well you handled him and his behaviour.
Plus you were just a year older, and really pretty to be fair.
Rin felt comfortable, although he didn't open up that much, but you were never pushy.

He felt a wave of tension when he heard some knocking.
Did he really want this confrontation? Honestly, if he knew the outcome of today, Rin would have never asked you out, much less start talking to you in the first place.

"Hi" Your voice was gentle as always.
"Let's just make it short, who were you talking about in your texts, cause honestly I'm quite confused. You've been giving me mixed signals, but I did think that there was something more."
Rin looked at you in anticipation. Anxiety, and fear even, filled his heart.
"I'm sorry Rin, this wasn't my intention, I never wanted any of this" You felt so sorry for the boy in front of you.
Even more for what was about to come.
"You want to tell me everything that happened was friendly? All of it? Your compliments, your words of motivation before a game, you SHOWING UP EVERY SINGLE TIME?"
In his heart, he still hoped you would say it was all a prank.
"I'm sorry okay!! I.. I don't know, I thought that was what a good.. A good friend would do.."
You confessed what he most feared.
"A friend."
This time, you could feel the venom in his voice.
"Are you fucking kidding me Y/N."
You were left speechless.
You wanted to tell him the truth, because that's what he deserved in that moment.. But you also didn't wanna break a certain promise.
"You know what, nevermind but just for a moment, tell me the whole truth. Who is he? Why you never mentioned any guy name to me?"
Your words were stuck in your throat.
Just as you were about to find an excuse someone entered the house.
His gaze indifferent as always.

Sae looked at both of you, sensing the thick atmosphere.
"Something happened?"
Sae looked at your expression, desperate to get out of that situation, and so he caught on.
"Did you tell him? I told you to wait, oh well it's fine now I guess"
You widened your eyes at your boyfriend's words, knowing this wasn't how you were planning to tell Rin.
When you turned to the said boy, you swore you never saw him with such an expression.
There were mixed feelings in his eyes, plenty actually, but what really hurt you was the tint of disgust behind all that anger.

"Was it him all along? YOU'RE FUCKING MY BROTHER? WHEN WERE YOU GONNA TELL ME?"
His voice breaking, showing exactly how he was feeling.
As you wanted to say something, Sae got between you two, trying to make his brother back off.
Rin aggressively slapped Sae's arm away.
"DON'T FUCKING TOUCH ME"

As Rin stormed off, Sae looked at you baffled.
"He's just being dramatic, he'll come back don't worry. Wanna go upstairs?"
You nodded, feeling a sort of.. guilt?

You did love Sae, you really did, you weren't doubting your relationship. You just felt really sorry.
You knew what a rejection feels like, plus the fact that it was because of his brother just made it worse.

While your bf chose a movie you texted Rin.. But you realized that he already blocked your number.

*YOUR TEXTS TO RIN*

Hours passed, even though Sae told you to stop worrying about his little brother, you just couldn't..you felt responsible somehow.

"You sure you don't want me to drive you home? It's gonna take just 2 minutes with my car" Asked Sae, while caressing your head.
"No it's fine. I need some fresh air, I can walk 10 minutes, it's fine, bye Sae" You reassured him.
"Alright, bye babe, and don't let that dumb brother of mine bother you."
Just when the door closed and you stepped out of the Itoshi's property, you met those eyes again.

"Still here? Go home already" Spat out Rin, trying to walk past you.
"Ignoring me won't do anything." You finally raised your voice a bit.
"I'm sorry Rin, okay? I wanted to tell you, but Sae told me to wait some time" You tried to explain yourself.
"Stop coming to my games, stop texting me, stop talking to me, forget I even exist, am I clear." Rin's words didn't miss a beat.
"Come on Rin, you are my bf's brother. I want a decent communication with you, plus, you don't even really like me-"
You were trying to get rid of the thick tension, but you only made things worse.
You set him off.
"Excuse me. You know nothing about me or my feelings. So if you're gonna stand here and tell me what I AM feeling you can just leave.
You.. You don't get me. I thought you did, but you never did. You still don't understand the kind of person I am.
You know, rejecting me is fine, dating my brother is fine also, as much as it disgusts me.. But you don't get to tell me how I feel or I don't feel. Especially after I tried to be decent, kind even, with you."

That night, Rin made you realize that you didn't in fact understand him.
On the other hand, he always observed you.
He knew you by now.
But Rin for you was still a mystery.
You entered his life, changed something in him, and then left leaving a scar that will stay open for who knows how long.

Rin started locking himself in his room or even going out the whole day whenever you would visit Sae.
It got to the point where you begged your bf to come over to your place.
Nothing got better between you two, you have no idea if he still has some sort of feelings for you.

But you sure know 1 thing:

He either doesn't give a fuck about you, or he hates you to the core.

Both were awful anyways.
But you stayed loyal, to Sae.
And that was probably the last hit for him.

Rin was still hoping you would change your mind and go to him.

You never did.
And he never stopped waiting.
