Your POV

It was the middle of summer. I haven't done anything exciting from what you really expect from summer.
And to be honest, summer isn't at all what you expect. Girls expect parties, sleep overs, hang outs, shopping, the mall, those things.
Boys expect parties, hot girls, swimming, hanging out, skating, surfing, that stuff.
Me? I didn't really expect much. My friends stopped contacting me ever since school ended.
The only other time I went out with my friends was probably during school and once on the last day of school.
Now, I'm just sitting down in my room reading a book for school.
I know. Summer is to have fun, but books are good too.
It was currently 12:15pm as I turned to my door, seeing my mom.
'Get ready'
'Where are we going?'
'To the swimming pool. You and your sister take the younger ones, okay?'
Before I could decline, she walked away.
I sighed as I started getting ready.
I'm finally getting out of the house at least right?

We were driving to the public swimming pool near this one high school.
I got out of the car only to hear screaming.
I cringed as I just ignored it and walked into the swimming pool.
'How much?'
I nodded as I handed the guy behind the cash register the money.
He winked towards me as he handed me the change and a piece of paper.
I looked towards his name tag.
Kai
I could feel my cheeks heat up as I quickly nodded and grabbed the change and paper.
I put the change into my back pack as I looked at the paper.
Hey! I'd really like to get to know you sometime, so here's my number!
Just know that I don't give this just to anyone here^^
Call me ~Kai
(XXX)XXX-XXXX
I smiled a bit as I put the paper away.
'So who's the hunk?'
'Huh?'
'Don't play stupid, the one behind the register'
I blushed thinking about him again.
'No one really'
'Whatever dude'
She just walked off as I stood there calming down, before walking towards them.
We walked to a place big enough for us.
I sat in one of the relaxing chairs still wearing my clothes.
'Aren't you swimming?'
'Yeah yeah, let me change'
I took off my top as I was left in my bikini top, then taking off my shorts, I was ready to swim.
'Let's go swimming!'
