I had successfully brushed the conversation with Hunter until tomorrow, but I had made the decision that I was no longer going to be living in this household by tomorrow morning. I had waited until everyone was asleep, or at least not walking past my bedroom anytime soon. I knew this all from the racket that my brothers had been producing since Hunter had left my bedroom.
I had convinced him that everything was fine, as that was my surface protection. He had believed me, and I had wanted to have a chat with him, after seeing his depressing look that he had going on, but I knew better than to do that. I knew better than to believe him, as he could flip the switch, just like the rest of us could.
He was just like the rest of them, and he did not need me to protect him. He did not need me, when he had all the fuck boys around him, that one could possibly need. Hence why I checked one more time for the message that I had been waiting for, and I was out of there. I slung my backpack on my back, the same one that I had brought here, with my duffle bag on my shoulder, with everything that I had been bought.
I took one final look around the room, making sure that it looked lifeless. Like I had never even been here. I climbed through the window that I had only climbed back through hours earlier, before I was shutting it, making it look like I had never even opened it. I then checked both windows that were near me, making sure that the curtains were drawn shut.
I then creeped down the roof, keeping my steps quiet, before I was throwing my bags over the edge, and into the dirt, before I was climbing down the side of the house myself, and then I was out of there. I was out of that place that I had been left to rot. They would never notice I wasn't there, because I was sure that they had never cared if I even wanted to be there in the first place.

"Thank god you got out!" arms wrapped around me, almost suffocating me, but it was more than welcomed. I just breathed in the scent of the familiar person, as I bit back the tears. I knew my brothers weren't cruel people, but right now, they felt like they were trying to rip everything on the inside, and flip it on the outside so that everyone would be able to mock me and laugh at me. "Me too" I murmured, as I squeezed my best friend back.
Caleb then was quick to tug me into a hug, while Hudson stood behind me, keeping an eye out for anything. We had made it back to Los Angeles before any of my brothers had noticed, and it was for the better. I was prepared to wait and see how long it would take them before they woke this morning, to find out that they would no longer have to accommodate for their little sister.
They no longer had to be careful around me, but like they ever were. They didn't have to drive me to school, and keep me away from the twins. They sure as shit, didn't have to make sure that I followed every damn rule that they had created in their little heads of theirs, that only thought about the money that was coming in, and how to spend it on themselves.
