All for one.

This would be the second time Kira took it. No. Third. First she borrowed it with the hair, then she took it from his original body.

It had killed her.

The pain she had felt was so intense she couldn't forget it...

Now she barely felt a thing.

Her arms wrapped around him. Tomura Shigaraki. He was kneeling, limp in her arms. He felt smaller than she thought he ought too. Him being a grown man and all. She held him up. Her wings flared out behind her.

The world seemed to slow. She could hear every breath. In and out. From Shigaraki. Not from her.

Black energy danced on her hands, pressed against his back and hair. Her hands on his skin as she slowly took it all. All of his quirks. All of all for one. Absorbing into her body again. This time she could bear it.

There was silence around the two. They sat on the corpse of his extra limbs. He didn't bother to grow any more, he probably couldn't. Sure it wasn't a quirk that allowed his body to do it, but holding all for one gave him energy. He didn't have the strength to change shape anymore.

He was quirkless.

But... He was alive.

Much to his dismay. And the heroes around him. Kira didn't think much of it.

"Kira... We are so proud of you." Nana whispered. Wrapping her own vestige arms around the two of them. She hoped that maybe.. Shigaraki could feel it as well.

"Kira? Can you feel them too?" Tammy asked her. Standing beside them with her eyes closed. She looked peaceful.

Tears ran down Kira's cheek. She closed her eyes too. She felt something... Like.. if she opened her eyes she'd see... She'd see her parents. Like they were there too. Their presence.

"Your parents are proud of you Kira."

It was one of the first things Tammy told her.
Then she explained how she could feel the spirits of the past because of her quirk... Because of how close she was to death, how she could peak in. Brush against the dead. Feel them. Sense their activity.

Kira didn't open her eyes. She knew she wouldn't see them. So she sat there with her eyes lightly closed, holding onto one of the last members of her family.

"I want to save... People who are like me." Kira whispered. "I could have been you... In another life."

"If I had known about her existence... I would have left Tomura to rot in the streets."

"I could have been either of you..."

"Because I'm you.... My body wasn't my own. Everyone was a god... But me... So I killed them. I killed them all. I killed the men who oppressed me. I killed those who held me down. I realized you were either a God or nothing."

She kept her eyes shut tightly as she felt her as well. But it wasn't the Mother character that looked over her like a dangerous dark cloud...

It was Oshita... A young woman taken from her home and abused until she snapped. Until she killed.

Sure... Maybe Oshita did have a choice to not become a monster. Maybe Tomura did too. They both declined though. They both became villains. Step by step.

Murder by murder.

Maybe the logical thing would be to kill Shigaraki now. One could argue Kira had done the right thing in shooting Oshita as well.
