Nikolai walked into his brother's bedroom and sighed as he saw Chuuya still curled up in the blankets with his arms wrapped around Dazai's middle. "Okay, enough is enough, ChuChu. You need to get out of bed and take a shower. Zai, what has he eaten in the last days?"

Dazai gently stroked his consort's hair. "Nothing. He refuses to eat or have anything like hot chocolate or tea."

Nikolai nodded. "Have you eaten anything?" If he needed to he would guilt his brother into getting up.

Dazai shook his head. "No, I haven't. I haven't left his side since we got home."

Chuuya buried his face further into Dazai's stomach. "I get it. I'm a terrible consort. You've made your point, now go away." He grumbled, voice muffled.

Dazai kissed Chuuya's head, trickling love down their bond. He knew his consort wouldn't handle a bombardment of love well right now. "You're the best consort in all the realms, Chuuya."

Nikolai sighed heavily, ignoring Dazai's soft reassurance to give his brother an unimpressed look. "That wasn't my point. My point is that you need to get up. Wallowing won't help you or anybody else."

Chuuya huffed in annoyance. "I'm not trying to help anybody. I'm mourning the fact that I've apparently been a terrible brother to our little sister and coming to terms with the idea that our mother finds me terrible for grieving over Shirasae."

Nikolai rolled his eyes as he began pulling his brother out of bed. "That's a load of shit and you know it. Kyo would be the first to tell you that you haven't been a horrible brother, nor are you terrible for grieving Shirasae. That bitch has completely warped her mind. It's like she can do no wrong, but us boys are all just horrible people. It happened, it hurt, it sucked, but you can't wallow forever."

Chuuya ignored his brother in favor of nuzzling his face into Dazai's stomach, appreciating the trickle of love coming down their bond. "Watch me."

Nikolai huffed. "So you're going to leave me to get Siggy together with the pups? I know I'm amazing, ChuChu, but I do not have Zai's flare for making coffee. They'd want his coffee, not mine. That means I'd have to steal your consort away temporarily."

Chuuya turned just enough to stare at his brother with one blue eye. "I forgot we were inviting them over for coffee," he murmured.

Nikolai nodded enthusiastically. "Yep!! We have to make sure their intentions towards our big brother aren't nefarious!!"

Chuuya rolled his eyes and turned his head away again. "I highly doubt they are. Their intentions towards Sigma have never been bad, and it isn't going to start now when they've ascended and can work towards making Sigma theirs."

Nikolai groaned as he pounced on Chuuya's back, shaking him by the shoulders. "But you know they'll never succeed in that goal without our help! Zai!! Tell him!!"

Dazai sighed fondly as he rubbed Chuuya's sides. "He isn't wrong, chibi. They'll keep going about it the wrong way without your guys' help, and Sigma will feel better about the whole situation in the long run if you and Niki approve of them."

Chuuya squeezed his eyes shut, taking a deep breath before finally sitting up and sending Nikolai tumbling off of him. "Fine, but only because I want Sigma to be happy. This has nothing to do with either of your persuasive abilities."

Nikolai whined from his new spot on the floor. "How could you be so cruel!? To your little brother no less!" He wailed, getting ignored completely by Chuuya.

Dazai smirked as he looked up at Chuuya, arms crossed behind his head. "Sure it doesn't, chibi~."

Chuuya smacked Dazai's chest before getting up. "It doesn't. You're both shitty at persuading people."
