Chapter 34 Fangs and Claws for Battle

Leona smirked at everyone who heard him and his dorm. "Well, well, if it isn't the Heartslabyul kids. The herbivore princess and her beasts. And is that Jack? You transfer to Heartslabyul on us, frosh?" Jack glared at his housewarden. "Nah. I just don't feel like celebrating the underhanded accomplishments of a bunch of cowards." Leona glares back at him. "You filthy traitor!" Riddle stepped forward. "You have tarnished a proud Night Raven tradition. As housewarden of Heartslabyul, a dorm focused on orderliness, I cannot possibly overlook this."

"Listen, kiddies—save your heroic speeches for someone who cares, all right?" Leona waved his hand dismissively at them. "Honestly, coming into our territory with only a handful of people... It's like you WANT a beating." Ruggie smirked with his hands behind his head.

"You want us to take care of 'em, Boss?"

Leona nodded at the Savanaclaw students. "Sure. Have a little fun with 'em." He smirked as the Savanaclaw students advanced.

(Y/n) stepped closer to Riddle. "Do you mind if we could take care of them?" She smirked. "They're all yours, (Y/n)." Riddle smirked back. (Y/n) turned to her she-beasts as they gave her a knowing smirk. "Girls, sic 'em!" The she-beasts listened to her order and attacked the Savanaclaw boys. They didn't get mauled though, they just tackled them to the ground. A few others tried to escape but (Y/n) used her weapons to summon her wind powers. She directed her wind magic at those who tried to escape and trap them in a tornado. Riddle quickly used his staff at them. "Off With Your Heads!" He used his signature spell on them.

"Urk... He's so strong."

"Man, housewardens are no joke."

"Hmph. Nothing but a lot of hot air. Well done, the four of you." Riddle smiled at the she-beasts. "Great job, girls." Ace patted Cyra'a back. "Such good girls!" Deuce scratched Nova'a head.

"Tch. I knew those chumps'd be no match for Riddle." Leona growled. "Shyeheehee! Maybe not! But this doesn't change the fact that they were too late to save Diasomnia." Ruggie bragged with a laugh.

"Oh? That's quite the interesting claim." Lilia stepped out to reveal himself and two other members of his dorm were all fine. This surprised the Savanaclaw crew. "They seemed right on time to me." The boy with light green hair spoke up. "Indeed. It's thanks to them that not a single one of Diasomnia House's players got hurt." The boy with silver hair added. "What? How?! I saw you get swallowed up by the stampede!" Ruggie exclaimed as he pointed his finger at them.

"Oh! About that... So it turns out those were actually duplicates of me, made with my signature Split Card spell." Cater smirked as he revealed. (Y/n) went over to him and kissed his cheek. "Excellent work, Cater." The third-year boy smiled back at her.

"What?" Leona's eyes widen at what Cater said. "I must admit, I really dig those Diasomnia House outfits. They're so extra! I'll DM you some of my selfies later." Cater pulled out his phone. "Is that right? If I knew you were such a fan, I'd have gladly loaned you mine." Lilia gave a cheeky grin. "Such a sweetheart! Though I think yours would be a little small for me." Cater gave a nervous smile.

Leona glared at everyone. "All right, can we get to the point?" Lilia stepped next to Riddle. "Riddle told us everything. So we had him put on that little charade for us." Ruggie's eyes slowly widen in fear. "So, then... Malleus?"

"Oh, he's in tip-top shape, of course! He's been clearing up the chaos, using his magic to guide all the people safely back to the coliseum. You can thank him later." The boy with light green hair stood tall. "H-how could this happen?!" Ruggie panicked. Leona continued to glare at everyone but then he lowered his head in defeat. "...Tch. Whatever. I don't even care anymore." Ruggie turned to his dorm leader. "What?" Leona continued to shake his head in frustration. "I'm done. It's over." Ruggie couldn't believe what he was hearing. "Boss, what are you saying?!"
