It wasn't long until the news about me and Niall spread around. My parents even called me about it. I should've told them from the start about my relationship, but I guess it slipped my mind.

"You're really dating Niall? Harry's friend, right?" My mum asked in disbelief.

"Yes, Mum. I am." I said.

"Congratulations, sweetie. He's quite cute!" I can sense my mum winking over the phone. I felt like I could tell her anything, but sometimes, she could make me a bit uncomfortable.

"Yeah, he is." I chuckled. "You don't think I moved too fast, do you?"

"No, not at all. Why would you think that?"

"It's just that, Harry and I just broke up, and then all of a sudden I'm dating another band member." I explained.

"No, don't worry about that. It really wasn't fast at all. You and Harry weren't together long enough for people to think it was a genuine relationship. If anything, you guys just looked like close friends who occasionally kissed." She reasoned.

It made perfect sense to me. She was right. I was better relaxed after Mum said that. "Thanks." I said. Soon after, we started speaking about how each other were doing. She asked about my job at the bakery, and I had no choice but to tell her the truth.

"I'm so sorry. I can always send some money if you need it! Being unemployed is hard, but I can help. I'm always here for you." My mum said.

"Thanks, but I'll be okay. I'm sure I'll stumble across something." I mumbled.

"Oh, okay. Just let me know if you need anything." She offered.

"I will. Hey look, I've got to go. Send my love to Dad? I love you."

"I love you, too, sweetie. Bye-bye!" My mum hung up before I could say goodbye myself. I didn't really have to go, but I felt the conversation was dying out. Apparently my mum was in a hurry. Oh well.

I put my iPhone in the dock and started playing some music. I sang along with the slower songs. No matter how unmusically talented I was, I still loved music.

I belted out the notes to some Ed Sheeran songs. I only noticed after the song that Louis was standing in the doorway of the room, looking at me. I immediately turned off the music and pretended as if I wasn't doing anything.

"Anna, You didn't tell me that you sang in your free time!" Louis exclaimed while walking over and sitting next to me.

"That's because I don't. Where's Harry?" I asked hoping to change the topic.

"Harry went home and yes you do. You were just singing, and it was your free time." Louis said.

"Yeah, so?" I said fiddling with my fingers.

"What I'm saying is that you aren't that bad." Louis complimented.

I blushed. I thought I sounded like a dying animal, but it was nice to hear otherwise. "Thank you, but I'm really bad." I whispered while chuckling.

Louis sat there and glared at me. "You are good!" I smiled and blushed some more. "Sing more often. It's nice." Louis said, patting my back. I nodded. "And for God's sake, Anna, take a fucking compliment." He smiled.

I started to laugh. "I will." I agreed that I should learn to accept when someone said something nice to me. Self-consciousness stops a person from doing so, but I think I was gaining more confidence.

"Good!" Louis stood up and started to leave the room. He turned around before he was out the door. He gave me a smirk and gave me an I'm-watching-you gesture. I stuck my tongue out at him. He chuckled and finally left the room.

I really liked to sing, but it wasn't my passion. I was more into baking than music. At least I thought I was. I guess I'd have to figure it out. That thought process would take place at a different time because I felt too tired to think of it now.

I went downstairs and back into the kitchen. I looked onto the tray, and lucky me. There was one cookie left. I greedily took it, and dumped it in some milk. It was purely delicious. I was sad at the image of an empty cookie tray. I had just made them earlier, and they were already all gone. I'd have to make some more soon.

I felt like I had been trapped inside Louis's house, so I grabbed a set of keys and walked outside. I hadn't gotten any fresh air in a while. A warm summer breeze hit my face. It was refreshing. I decided to go down the block and back. It was a very short walk. I was back on Louis's porch before I knew it. I was walking up the steps when I heard my name being yelled from afar. I turned around.

Niall was calling me from across the street. I smiled and started to walk towards him. I looked both ways before running across the street. He held his arms out as if he wanted a hug. Should I surprise him and jump in his arms? That would be really fun to do. It's also sappy like those cute movies. I went with my instincts.

I leaped up, hoping I wouldn't fall. I didn't. I wrapped myself around Niall as he caught me and spun me around. He grabbed the bottom of my legs to support me. I kissed him as a greeting. The next thing I knew, Niall was tipping over. He fell backwards onto his back and I landed onto of him. He grunted in pain.

"Oh my God! Are you okay?" I asked concerned for him.

"Yeah. I'm alright." Niall chuckled. "Let's just not do that for a while."

I giggled and rolled off of him. We were laying on our backs in the middle of his lawn. I felt his hand reach out towards mine. I grabbed his hand, and we enjoyed the sky. "So, how are you?" I asked.

"I'm alright." He chuckled again. "What were you doing earlier? I saw you go down the block and then you came back."

"I just went for a walk. I felt like I needed to breathe." I explained.

"Oh, you alright?" Niall asked looking towards me.

"Yeah, I just felt like I was trapped in the house. I'm better now." I smiled.

Niall returned the smile. "Great. Maybe we should go inside. Looks like it's going to rain." I looked up and saw stormy clouds.

"Okay." I stood up very fast. Niall was still on the ground, staring up at me. "C'mon!" I said. I extended my hand towards him.

"You're just stunning." Niall said while grabbing my hand. I smiled and used all my strength to pull him up.

"And you are ridiculously beautiful, Niall." I said once he was standing. Niall started to blush insanely and quickly. He looked down and then looked back up at me. A big smile never left his face. He leaned in and kissed me passionately. It was very sweet, yet had so much meaning. I felt drops of water hit my face. It must've been raining, but I didn't care enough to stop.

I heard shouting from behind me. "ANNA AND NIALL! YOU ARE OUTSIDE IN FUCKING PUBLIC! GO INSIDE IF YOU'RE GOING TO MAKE-OUT AND STUFF!" I laughed and turned around to see the door to Louis's house slam shut.

I rolled my eyes. Niall grabbed my hand and pulled me inside his house.

"Since you are officially my girlfriend and the whole world knows it, shall we continue what we were doing outside? Or if you don't want to we can do other stuff-" Niall was interrupted by my lips crashing into his. He pulled away for a quick second. "Don't let me talk so much next time!" Niall complained.

I rolled my eyes, and Niall and I continued.
