Suffer the Children

A/N Hello everyone and welcome back to another chapter of this story! I cannot tell you enough how much I have enjoyed making this story. And I certainly hope you all have enjoyed reading it from me, as I know that I'm still relatively new to making stories that are cohesive and enjoyable. Most of my stories end with a sad ending, but I certainly hope that you all aren't discouraged from the end of the story in three episodes that remain. Anyway, let's begin the chapter!

Izuku slept through the night without much problems. But he was feeling a distinct lack of Clementine and AJ in the same bed as him before he woke up inevitably. Leaning upwards slightly before feeling a slight pain in his gut he took a glance around the room. He found Clementine and AJ standing not far away from the bed with guilty looks on their faces.

He got upright a bit more before he pushed his legs off the bed. This garnered the two's attention as they glanced at him with their eyes before sitting on the opposite bed. The two's expressions hardened as they looked into Izuku's eyes before speaking to him in a sad tone.

"We're being kicked out." Clementine said, as Izuku looked up at her.

"How?" He asked, his tone weak but powerful.

"Marlon was planning on giving us three to this place that took Tenn's sisters away. I'm just lucky enough to have overheard the conversation between Marlon and Brody. But it all just went to shit as soon as I told everyone else what was about to happen." Clementine said, as Izuku stared at her as she wouldn't look AJ in the eye at the moment.

"AJ, what did you do?" Izuku asked, as calmly as possible.

"I-I-I did what I-I was taught to do. I-I killed a monster." AJ said, looking in Izuku's eyes with fear.

"AJ, was Marlon's appearance that of a walker?" Izuku asked, as the shook his head.

"N-No. B-But he was p-putting C-Clementine's safety in d-danger!" AJ said, as Izuku sat off the bed a bit before standing upright.

He then reached over to both AJ and Clementine who waited for him to punish the two of them for not taking him up earlier for this. But they were surprised when he pulled the two of them into a hug as he held onto them as tight as possible. Clementine was especially surprised to see Izuku actually hugging the two of them like this instead of punishing them.

"Y-You're not mad at us?" Clementine asked.

"I'm not mad, disappointed that I wasn't awoken to help, but I'm just happy that you both are safe, even if we're being forced out of here." Izuku said, hugging the two tighter.

As the trio stayed in the hug being provided entirely by Izuku, the door was opened by Louis who stared at them all with concern. He was overly concerned about Izuku's health in the moment as he'd just survived a bullet being shot in his abdomen. And he was dreadfully hoping that when they all were sent away that if they were to come across anyone who wouldn't like them that they'd survive. He may be kicking them out with everyone else minus one or two, but he wasn't heartless.

He led the trio out of the room as Izuku stumbled about behind them. He had furled his wings on his back as it provided some extra balance for him as they made it outside of the boarding school's gates. Walking through the gates, Louis and Violet followed Izuku, Clementine and AJ towards the edge of their safe zone. Once there they went their separate ways as Izuku kept close to Clementine and AJ.

They were walking through the forest as they spoke about how they needed to make sure to find shelter. Izuku brought up the train station now that it was completely empty, and how they could use it as a small base. Clementine looked at the sky and spoke aloud for him and AJ to hear though, making their situation worse.
