A/N Hello everyone and welcome back to another chapter of this story! I hope you all haven't been waiting too long for this chapter to come out! I know that you all were really wanting for me to showcase the rest of this story. And here we are! We are on the second to last episode of events from the Game and I cannot express how much I appreciate bringing you all on this journey! Without further ado, let's begin!
The next day, Izuku stands looking paler than he was the previous day. His milky green eye was making itself known very well as Izuku also lost vision in it. The boy was looking worse and worse as time went on and he wanted to make sure that Clementine and her new group were safe from all threats.
As the group noticed his declining health, they were becoming more worried about whether he will survive long enough to see them save their friends. But Izuku stated time and again that he would be joining them on their raid of the boat that Lilly was at in order to save their friends. And it was non-negotiable.
The way Izuku carried himself, even with his declining health showed to AJ that even when he was losing strength over time he wouldn't give up. The boy had also coincidentally begun to look after him far more than Clementine had been able to since she had been too focused on planning. Izuku had also made sure to keep an eye on AJ so that he doesn't go too far within the walls.
It was as Izuku walked through the ruins of the now cleared courtyard that he and AJ came across Willy mourning over the body of Mitch. The boy was holding a small container that Izuku could only hope was the bomb that the boy had decided to make in honor of Mitch. Looking up at Izuku, Willy just gave him a teary-eyed smile that Izuku pat his shoulder for.
"We will make sure that Mitch didn't die for nothing. I guarantee it." Izuku said, with a small smile on his face.
"Yeah, this is the bomb that Mitch and I worked on. It will be his magnum opus, I'm thinking of calling it Mitch's Revenge." Willy said, as Izuku smiled at the boy even more.
"It's perfect. *Cough! * *Cough! * Definitely a name that Mitch would appreciate." Izuku said, patting the boy's head.
Leaving the boy to his own devices, Izuku glanced around the place taking in one last glance at how it appeared. He couldn't help but smile to himself as AJ stared up at him in confusion as to why Izuku was standing like this. It looked pretty cool of him, the wind brushing his hair a bit out of the way, revealing his more... walker like appearance.
"Do you think you can last long enough to save our friends, Dad?" AJ asked, worriedly.
"I won't die until I want to die AJ, either that or Walkers overpower me." Izuku retorted with a snort.
"B-But... isn't your body turning on you?" AJ asked, as Izuku remembered Abel's words.
'My... my whole life, everything I ever got... I got with my own two hands. And... and my will. For my body to turn on me... to take control. I-I won't... allow it.' Abel's words came to Izuku's mind.
"It doesn't matter about what my body is doing. I will last as long as possible, even if it means I turn along the way. I will not rest until you guys are safe and sound." Izuku said, pulling AJ into his chest hugging the boy tightly.

It was about a few hours later that Izuku and Clementine walked out of the safety of the Ericsons school walls. They walked through the forest before finding James' encampment within the woods as they found him cooking some food. Looking up from his work, James smiled at the two before taking a gander at Izuku's appearance and wincing.
