"Emma," I said, walking up to her, hoping she could help me "Annie, what's up?" She said, smiling at me, then handed me her camera bag, I just looked down at the bag and then back at her "Are you going to the butterfly field today?" I said, handing her bag back "How did you know?" She said, smiling at me. I just smiled at her and then pointed to her bag. She just giggled at me "Have you seen Noah?" I said leaning against the locker. "Did you check with Jake? Or he could be helping Mr. Burley or the computer room?" Emma said closing her locker. "I have checked with Mr.Burley, but he wasn't there," I said picking up my bag and then followed her down the hall. She managed to talk me into going with her to help her photos.
"Annie, when will you tell Noah how you feel?" Emma said looking over at me. "Come on Emma doesn't like me that way," I told plucking the petals off a daisy. "How do you know?" Emma walked over to me sitting beside me. She looked at me and then noticed a butterfly as it landed on my knee. Before I knew it she took my picture with a big smile. "Emma come on please delete the picture," I said trying to get her camera away from her. "Annie please let me keep the picture I promise I will not show it to anyone besides I need a good picture for a contest at the school." She proceeded to give me puppy dog eyes which I gave in. After an hour I managed to talk her into going with me to Brain Freeze so we could get something to drink.
When we got there I saw Jake, Noah, Troy, and Gia I froze when I saw Noah. "Annie come on," Emma said pulling me toward the others. "Annie you okay?" Jake said walking over to me and taking my hand. "Yeah," I said blushing when I saw Noah looking my way. I guess Jake thought that I was blushing at him cause he hugged me and then whispered in my ear. "Come with me" Then he smiled at me leading me to another table where he pulled out a chair for me. I smiled at him then sat down "Annie, do you have a date for the dance?" Jake said nervously "Uhm no why?" I said looking at him. "Will you be my date to the dance?" I watched as he took my hand. "I-I-thought you were going with Gia?" I said looking at him. "She turned me down," Jake said giving me a sad look. "Oh Jake," I said taking his hand "Please Annie" He gave me a pout and I couldn't say no "Yes Jake I will go to the dance with you," I said smiling at him then he jumped up pulling me into his arms. I let out a small giggle then he pulled me over to the others. "She said yes," Jake said sitting down beside Noah and Gia. "See Jake I told you," Noah said then looked up at me with a small smile, which I could tell was hard for him. I watched as Noah and Gia moved down so that I could sit beside Jake. "Hi Annie," Orion said smiling at me then gave me a froyo. "Thank Orion," I said smiling up at him. As I began to eat I heard a beep I looked at the others. "Goesi needs us," Troy said looking at the others. "I will be back soon," Jake said then hugged me. I smiled at him then looked up at Noah who gave me a small smile. "Guys I think Annie should come with us," Noah said looking at the others. "She will be safe there with Goesi" I watched as he looked at me then offered me his hand. "Noah I can stay here I promise I will go straight home." I said standing up "Please come with us. I just worry that the Armada will try to kidnap you." Noah touched my cheek smiling at me. I blushed I couldn't help it I walked to pull him to me and kiss him, but I remembered that Jake had asked me to the dance. "Come on Annie," Jake said walking over to me and taking my hand. I smiled back at Noah then followed Jake out the door. Orion met us at the base with Goesi.
"Don't worry Annie you will be safe here. I promise" Jake said smiling at me then kissed my cheek. Then he walked out of the cave I looked over at Goesi "Annie you seem like you have something on your mind" Goesi said I just nodded then walked over and sat down telling Goesi what was bothering me. We talked while the battle was going on, which kept my mind off what was going on. After a while my eyelids got heavy "Goesi I am so tired" I said leaning against the wall. "Tensou can you please bring Annie a blanket and pillow" Goesi said, but I was out before Tensou brought them to me. "Just cover her up the others will be here soon," Goesi said as Tensou covered me up.
When I woke up Noah was sitting beside me with a smile on his face. "Annie your awake" Noah said then stood up. "Sorry I was just so worn out I guess I fall asleep without knowning" I looked up at Goesi "I am so sorry for falling asleep" Noah touched my arm "Annie its ok Goesi knew you were tired." Noah smiled at me. I looked into his eyes so captivated by them that I didn't realize I was moving closer to him. Our lips touched I started to pull away, but he pulled me back to him Deeping the kiss. "Hey Annie" Jake called but when he saw what was going on he backed away. "I am sorry" I said pulling away "annie, Why are you sorry? I wanted to kiss you" Noah said touching my cheek then leaned back down kissing me again. I couldn't help it I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him to me kissing him back. "Will you please be my date to the dance?" he said trying to catch his breath "Jake asked me" I said touching his cheek "Well he asked you so no one else would ask you before I could. I was just so scared to ask you myself" I smiled at him "Noah why were you scared to ask me?" I said touching you hand "I see how you interact with everyone, and I thought you wouldn't give me the time of day." I watched as Noah looked down away from my eyes. "Noah" I said turning his head so I could look into his eyes "I would love to be your date to the dance" I said smiling then watched as his eyes threw big "Are you serious?" I watched as he stood up I smiled then stood up giving him a hug. "Noah I am serious" I said smiling at him "Gia and Emma have been urging me to tell you how I felt, but I have been so scared that you would just brush me off." I said looking away. "Annie" He touched my cheek then kissed me softly. "So have you finally asked her to the dance?" A voice said from the door. We looked up to see Jake and the others smiling at us. "I have" Noah said smiling at me "she said yes".
