I have always thought that I would always stay in Angel Grove, but my father got offered a promotion at his job, He gave us the option of moving with him to the new town or we could stay in Angel Grove with a family friend. I thought I had made the right decision to move with my parents and younger siblings. "Ana are you okay?" my mom said looking at me as she handed my sister a juice box.. "I am think I made the wrong decision to come with you guys." I said looking out the window. I watched as the scenery changed. My mind was back in Angel Grove with my friends. "Ana I am going to miss you" Kimberly said then hugged me. "Yeah me too" Tommy gave me a hug squeezing me a little. I just buried my face into his chest trying to make a memory of his smell. I pulled away then saw Adam looking at me I ran to his arms "Wish you were staying here" Adam whispered in my ear "Me too" I said then looked into his eyes. "Ana, We can turn around if you want to stay here in Angel Grove. your Grandparents already said that your welcome to live with them till your graduate." Momma voice brought me back. "You mean it I can change my mind." I said moving closer to her taking her hand. She smiled "Yes, I will call the school to let them know that you will be in school tomorrow." I watched as she dialed the school's number then nodded at my father.
"Ana" my grandmother called walking towards me "Mom are you sure it's ok for Ana to stay here?" my father said carrying one of my boxes toward the front door "Of course it is" my grandmother said smiling then hugged me tight. I watched as my father and brothers unloaded the items from my room. "Did you unload my desktop?" I said walking up to my father. "That was the fourth box we unloaded." He smiled at me then gave me a hug and kissed my forehead. "Please behave and stay in contact with us." He smiled at me then gave me one last hug "If you ever want to come back to live with us all you have to do is call." Momma said giving me a hug. I stood there with my grandparents waving as they drove away. "Sweetie, Do you want to go to the Youth Center?" Grandpapa said giving me a smile. "I need to unpack my things don't I?" I said turning to face him. "Well, we can do that later on this afternoon." I bite my lip thinking about how it would be to surprise my friends with the news that I had decided not to move with my parents and younger siblings. "Ana, I am sure your friends will be thrilled to see you. We need to get to the school so we can have you ready for school on Monday" Grandmama said giving me a gentle smile. "I will go to the Youth Center while you guys are the school." I said then walked into the house to grab my bag.
The ride to the youth center was quiet and well left me enough time to really think about what I was going to say to my friends. The one person that I really didn't know what to say would be Adam. We have been flirting back and forth for the past couple of months, but I was always shy about how to tell him how I felt about him. "Are you okay?" Grandmama said giving me a concerned look. I smiled back "Yes I am fine. Just thinking really." I said then noticed that we were pulling up to the Youth Center. When we pulled up I noticed a group of people standing at the door looking at the car. "Tommy do you think that is Ana?" Kimberly said looking at the car. "It looks like her" Tommy said giving her a smile. "Better go darling" Grandpa said smiling at me "Guess your right" I said then opened the door grabbing my bag as I got out of the car. "ANA!!" Kimberly yelled as she ran to me followed by the others. I soon felt several arms wrapping around me pulling me into a huge hug. I just melted into the group hug leaning my head onto Tommy. "I thought you were moving with you parents." Kimberly said wiping her eyes. "I changed my mind. I wanted to stay here with you guys." I looked at Adam and smiled. "I wanted to be" I walked over to Adam "Ana I love you" Adam pulled me to him kissing me deeply. I wrapped my arms around Adam pulling him closer to me I wanted more than just one kiss. "I thought I had lost you" Adam said breathless leaning his forehead onto mine. I looked at him trying to catch my breath "I couldn't move so far away. All I could think about was you." I said touching his cheek.. "SOOO you guys dating now?" Aisha said smiling at us. Rocky looked at me then took my hand "If she will agree to be my girlfriend" Adam looked into my eyes. "yes" I said then kissed him again wrapping my arms around him. I felt him pick me up then spin me around. I couldn't help but giggle as he did that. "Hey, it's good that you are back." Rocky said smiling at us. "He has been sulking since we saw you off yesterday." I took Adam's hand then kissed his cheek. "Come on guys lets go in" Tommy said then opened the door holding it for us. "Thank Tommy" I said smiling at him then followed Adam down the hall.
The next month Adam and I were always together. My grandparents allowed him at time to stay over at night, but he had to sleep on the floor or in the guest room. Adam always made sure I had a ride to school and home, but there were times when he and the others would disappear leaving me wondering where they were. "Hey, Do you want to come with me to the park after school?" Adam said placing my bag at my desk. "I guess" I said smiling at him then pulled my items out of my bag waiting for class to start. As class went I wondered why he wanted to go to the park after all we always went to the Youth Center, but I just figured that since it was a sunny day he wanted to practice in the sun. "Hey, you coming to the park with us?" Kimberly said leaning against the locker beside me. "Yes I told Adam I would. Is he planning something?" I said closing my locker giving her a concerned look. "Adam up to something? I don't know really." I watched as Kimberly smiled at me then adjusted her backpack then walked down the hall toward our next class. "Kim wait up" I yelled running to catch up with her.
As the day passed I tried to figure out what Adam was planning, but if the others knew they won't tell me. "Ana" Aisha said touching my shoulder "You seem like something is on your mind." She sat beside me giving me a concerned look.. "Aisha I am fine really everything is good." I said then hugged her. "Ana" Adam said then knelt down in front of me "I know we are young but I want to ask if you will wait for me." I looked at him as he opened a small box "Adam yes" I said wrapping my arms around him. "Well it seems like the black ranger has a girlfriend." A voice called out. "Goldar" Tommy said balling up his fists. Adam stood in front of me followed by the others. "Goldar leave her alone. Your fight is with us not her" Rocky said glaring at the monster. "What is it Rangers scared I am going to take your friend?" Goldar said pointing at me "Putties get the girl" I watched as my friends fight off the grey things. "Ana come on I need to get you to safety" Adam said pulling me up to my feet "Adam what is going on?" I said following him as we ran down the hill trying to get away. "Are you a Power Ranger?" I said pulling him to a stop "Please be honest with me." I could feel tears rolling down my face. I was scared I couldn't help crying "shh it's ok I will not allow anyone to harm you. You have my word" Adam touched my cheek the wiped the tears off my cheek then he pulled me to him. I wrapped my arms around his waist laying my head onto his chest as he held me.
