Chapter 106- Texts and Phone Calls

December 5th, 2018:

I got to Yoona's on my own having used my car to get to work this morning. Of course, as always though, Iseul had come with me and walked me to the door after sweeping Yoona's apartment. I sat down on the couch, now alone, and still feeling the adrenaline rush of having said everything I had to Bang PD. I rub my face with my hands a few times.

"What a day," I muttered, standing up and going to the window letting out a deep breath, "that was a f*cking lot..."

I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket and half expect it to be Bang PD firing me, but instead, it was Chan continuing the conversation we'd been having about some situation that had happened with a fan.

Chan: Lol

Chan: So right, u just can't win with some ppl

Chan: Anyway, how was ur day?

Y/N: Urgh

Y/N: Had a meeting with my CEO

Y/N: Basically told him he was sexist 🥲

Y/N: And that he had to take me seriously and to let me do what I want or he was gonna crash and burn 😭

Y/N: So... u know... a great day at the office 😜

Chan: Omg

Chan: Talk abt tea

Chan: Honestly tho like where's the lie?

Y/N: Hahahaha

Y/N: Thx for the support ☺️

Chan: U think he's gonna listen tho?

Chan: Or is he gonna low-key try to punish u for it?

Y/N: Idk

Y/N: He's pretty hot and cold

Y/N: Like tries to be the "nice" CEO but then never takes me seriously so idk

Y/N: Obviously also has a pretty big ego

Y/N: Here's hoping he asks ppl for advice and they tell him to just let me do my thing

Y/N: Like I'm not asking for a miracle here, I know to put the group first and I'm not asking to release like five solo songs in one month. I just want to be able to release the songs that truly feel like me and not having to constantly fight them abt it. I'm super popular in the US, I'm the most popular female idol in Korea, I bring him in soooo much money and I deserve to be rewarded for that

Y/N: And this shouldn't even be like a "reward", this should be how I'm treated from the beginning. I'm not "controversial", like wtf? I'm controversial to him but lit not to anyone else

Y/N: Like I'm not saying to kill all men, all I'm writing abt is my own experiences... and who tf do u think gave me those experiences???

I pause taking a deep breath realising I really had gone off, maybe a little too much. I'd only been talking to Chan on and off for like two weeks now, this must feel like a lot for him.
