Shizuo x reader

You smiled as you walked down the street with a close friend, Namie. "I wish that Izaya didn't have all those men come to his house. They creep me out." She said as she sighed. You smiled at her. "Just be glad Izaya touches you. Shizuo is so scared that hill hurt me, so he won't even kiss my cheek!" You all continued talking about random things until a certain someone popped up in between you two. "Izaya! I thought you were doing your paperwork!" Namie scolded. "Buuuuuut Namieeeeeeeeee. I don't want to do all of it!" he whined. She sighed as they got into it. Scolding and whining went back and forth until you interjected. By now Izaya had one arm around Namie's shoulders and she had pulled him down by his shirt. "You all are such a cute couple, ya know?" You asked making both of them shut up. "Now if only Shizuo was like that!" You chirped as you smiled. "I need to go! Don't have to much fun!" You sang, Skipping away happily. Once you were out of their sight you pulled out your phone and called your boyfriend. "You need something (Y/N)?" Comes the familiar voice of your lover. "Izayas in town." Click. Well that's a nice way to hang up on your girlfriend. You sighed as you pocketed your phone and continued walking. Just a normal day, right? Yeah.....

Shizuo POV

I marched down the road. That *a** flea. I'll kill him! Note: thank (Y/N) later. How did
(Y/N) even know he was here?. *a** woman. She just knows everything, doesn't she? I guess that's why I'm so lucky to have her....

Reader POV

You hummed a small tune. Where was Shizuo? "GET BACK HERE YOU *A**E* FLEA." There he was. You gave a wave to Izaya as he passed carrying Namie. Soon you spotted Shizuo, in all of his sigh-holding-glory. You sighed, stepping in front of him you gingerly placed your hands on his chest. Almost instantly he relaxed, and dropped the sign. He also pulled away from you. Just the normal.

You sat in a small restaurant. Nothing to fancy but not fast food. No, you weren't at Simons. You were on a date, although the way Shizuo acted it might as well be a normal day at a fast food place. Stiff, still, very tense, barely talking. Why? You had done what you always do while eating, you were holding his hand across the table. Such an innocent gesture, right? Not for him. Why couldn't he just accept the fact he wouldn't hurt you? After a small time gap he had started to relax a little more. Now here is what shocked you, he held your hand. And on the way home, HE STILL HELD IT!! This was a huge improvement. Wait it gets better. When you both got home, he leaned down and pecked your lips before running off to take a shower. You smiled. Maybe he would start holding you. Maybe one day you could be a normal couple...yeah, that would be nice.
