You ended up staying the night. After asking of you could use Ava's shower, to which she reluctantly agreed.

You didn't sleep. Not even a wink. Neither did Pierce.

Rhys tried to stay up but ended up succumbing to his exhaustion.

You and Pierce stared each other down until the sun starts to rise and your eyes catch movement by the couch.

The Prince Daemos was up. Looking determined as he sits up from his slumber and walks up to the glass overlooking of the apartment.

Watching as the city streets came to life with people on their own agendas so early in the morning.

You could hear him groan in disgust at the sight as he turns back around. Walking up to the orange-horned Daemos on the floor as he reaches for the hilt of his dagger.

Then he pauses as he feels goosebumps envelope his body.

Eyes slowly drifting to the side, blood running cold at the sight of you, sat at the smaller human's door, a warning glare in your eyes as he slowly retracts his hand, returning the wary glare.

Then his eyes glance at Pierce, sat at the same spot he was the night before, however he was wide awake, never taking his eyes off the female human as if he knows something the Prince didn't.

"Sit back down, Prince." You growled with a hostile tone, making the Prince bristle in confusion at your hostility.

"Who do you think you are to order me around?.." The Prince spoke back with equal offense despite not knowing why you were being wary once more.

"Prince Asch.. "

The said Daemos Prince glances at the claymore wielding Daemos.

"Lady L/N already knows."

There was a moment of stunned silence, then anger as his fists flared with wild flames.

"WHAT?!" He snaps, making the other Daemos stir, except Lief who was already awake with one eye open and a mischievous smirk over his face at the morning chaos.

"Lower your voice, It's too early to be yelling.."

"How much do you know?.."

"I'm the one that should be asking questions here."

"Answer me!"

"No, you answer me."

The air went still with tension, before the green-horned Daemos cuts it with an amused whistle as he chuckles.

"Now that's what I call a soft awakening..."

"Lief, Not the time." The dark-skinned Daemos cuts in, now awake due to the volume of Prince's outburst as he straightens his blazer.

All eyes were on you. Except the orange-haired Daemos, still blissfully asleep on the carpeted floor.

You rise to your feet as you run your fingers through your disheveled hair. You had lots of work to do but you couldn't exactly leave the defenseless girl alone with these lying parasites.
