in the darkened room of killian's room, there was the blue eyed werewolf sitting on a chair behind a desk, a hand resting on the other, his fingernails tapping on the desk, a dazed look in his eyes as he focused on the hard steeled that heightened up his text books.
"killian."
the brunette girl stepped inside, talking to him but he ignored her since he was lost in his own thoughts, addison stood behind killian, who was lost, her fingers then gently swiped across his neck.
killian jumped back, feeling something against his neck, he then saw addison standing in front of him with a smile.
"what are you thinking about?" addison asks.
"um, uh, nothing..." killian lies.
"what are you hiding?" addison asks, knowing he was lying.
"it's nothing, okay?" his voice hardened, glaring at her as he stood up.
addison frowns at his change of attitude.
"sorry, sorry, i need to sleep." killian sighs out.
"yeah, uh, okay..." addison deeply frowns her brows, a skeptical look in her eyes.
killian looked at addison as she walked away, going out of his room, he then sighs out, dropping his self on the bed, actually trying to sleep and not think of what kate told him.
in the middle of the night–––addison argent wasn't having any much sleep as it was, you'd think she'd be much at peace since no one was trying to kill her but she couldn't help but get a terrible feeling buried deep within, one that was directed to her brother.
she felt like he was hiding something big from her, she could tell from his scent, it was so unusual.
addison, once again, went into the room, her going over to killian's sleeping figure and observed him closely, a scent captured in her, a scent that was one that didn't belong to him.
death.
the scent of death.
and, that had her thinking, why would killian be smelling like death?

at the high school's gym, liam was with mason, the dirty blonde haired beta pushing his self by lifting weights that he could barely handle, something that worried mason.
"are you sure you're up for that?" mason concerningly asks.
liam laid on the bench, his legs hanging on either sides, his eyes glaring up at his best friend. "what's that supposed to mean?"
"that thing is weighing over 300 pounds, it'll crush you!" mason expressed.
"i can do it by myself, thank you." liam snapped.
liam gripped onto the bars and pushed it down but felt the bars getting too heavy which had him struggling, his brows frowning in panic, beads of sweat forming on his forehead.
liam then felt the weight getting lighter and mason's mouth hang open as he saw addison behind liam, lifting it up.
liam heavily breaths out, chest heaving up and down, he then went on a sitting position and looked at addison.
"liam? it's okay, you don't have to be afraid of being scared, you don't need to be part of what's going on, but–––you have mason, keep him, don't push him away." addison softly says.
