Shyam and sudha reached home by evening and Devamma also returned from her work. Shyam handed her sweets and she looked surprised yet happy.

" Where have you been? From where did you buy them? " She asked.

" We went to the festival and there I bought them " shyam replied and went to the backyard to wash his hands and face. Sudha too filled her with the details about their visit and she too cleaned herself to cook the dinner.

Sudha nodded her head and started discussing what to buy with her maaji. Both of them were still talking so shyam finished eating and got up.
