The Bring Down

Its time.

A couple days have past and me and Sage have been working on packing and a way to tell my parents we are moving in with sages grandma penny. "Sage I'm scared of my parents" Sage looks up from the box of books she's putting under our bed "well the worst thing that can happen is them reporting you as a runaway and your 18th birthday is a week away, we still have so much stuff to pack by the time we move out you'll be 18 and they cannot control where you live" Sage reached up and grabbed my face "plus your so cute I don't think I can handle not living with you now that I've done it" I grab sages shoulders and pick them up with ease and kiss them" my parents left about 20 minutes ago so I knew I didn't have to watch what I saying "god I'm so ready to get out of this house"  I look around the room and a flood of childhood memories with Sage come to me "Sage.. did you ever think that is is where we'd be" Sage looks at me like I just stabbed them "well of course I've had the biggest crush on you since 6th grade"  "Sage I think I have  to tell my parents now.." Sage looks confused "why would you want to do that it could go horrible" "yes it could go horrible but they are still my parents and they deserve to know" *BRRING BRRING* "FUCK!" Sage jumps and asks what happened "it's the school.." Sage looks a little confused "well fuck I guess today's just the day of telling people shit.. I'll tell you what's going on when my parents get home" as soon as I stop saying what needed to be said I hear three car doors counting them off like a heard of sheep "and I guess that means it's time to tell them huh.." Sage gets up and grabs my hand they squeeze it three time "one.. two..three I love you" my face twists into a hot pink "I-i love you?"
Sage looks at me worriedly "I'm so sorry I should've made sure you were rea-" I cut them off "absolutely don't apologize for saying I love you I love you so much more than you realize" I look up and see my sister standing in the doorway chewing a piece of gum "mom and dad want to talk to you" *POP* "ugh okay Mac tell them we will be down in a minute " Mac turns around and shuts the door Sage looks at me and I can see the support in their eyes "here goes nothing" we walk down the stairs holding hands and the first thing we see are new kitchen utensils and everyday household items that we are stocked up on "mom.. dad.. what's all this?" My mom looks at my dad and  tarts giggling "hun do it!! Give it to her!!" My dad reaches into his pocket and asks me if I'm ready for responsibility I look at Sage with the most confused look I've ever given "uhm..yeah?" My dad pulls out two sets of keys one is a car key and the other looks like a regular key."okay.. you got a new car? What's the big deal?" My moms smile dropped "well Anna it's YOUR new car andddd we got you an apartment where sages grandma lives " my heart sinks "well how do you know about saved grandma?"  My mom lets out a silly laugh "well we reached out to her and asked her to help us out with surprising you two" "wait so sages grandma is working with you to surprise me?"  I don't think what she had said fully sunk in because sages jaw is on the floor so I do a quick recap on what just happened "HOLY SHIT I JUST GOT A CAR AND AN APARTMENT"
