Over the next two days, Jiro engages in a thoughtful conversation with Saikiko's grandfather. Meanwhile, the former members of CRYCHIC try to solve their past issues.
Live-House Circle
Jiro POVOn a rather ordinary morning, I visited Circle before going to school to collect the sponsorship letters for MILLENNIUM. After collecting five letters, I heard the service bell rung outside. Leaving my office, I encountered an elderly gentleman in a fine suit, who seemed somewhat out of place in a Live-House, typically featuring girl bands. He politely asked my name after a brief moment of observation.
Gentleman: Are you Jiro Chisaka?
Jiro: Yes, that's me. May I help you?
Gentleman: Are you perhaps busy at the moment? *hands me business card*
Upon careful examination of the business card, I observed the Togawa name.
Jiro: I'm sorry, it is up to the talent agency to decide on sponsorships.
Gentleman: Let's be direct. You are aware of my identity.
Jiro: Yes... your Sakiko's grandfather.
Togawa: May we talk? I have been meaning to speak with you specifically.
Jiro: Why me?
Togawa: My granddaughter has mentioned your name in a few of our conversations.
Jiro: I see. I guess I don't have much of a choice since I have no plans.
Togawa: Let us converse at my estate.
Following transportation in a black limousine and subsequent absence from school today, I arrived at the Togawa Estate. The building was as large as I anticipated, though perhaps not quite as large as the Tsurumaki Mansion, if I remember correctly. Upon entering, I was shown to a large room with many windows and a piano in the back. It appeared to belong to Sakiko.
Togawa: She's just like her mother...
Jiro: In what way, sir?
Togawa: They both had very strong personalities...
As I rested my hand on the piano, I remembered Sakiko's bright and cheerful spirit, a quality I believe she still possesses. While enjoying coffee, Togawa expressed his wish to discuss my relationship with his granddaughter from the beginning.
Jiro: If may I speak freely, you don't seem the type to care about this sort of thing. Sir.
Togawa: Your assumption is correct. However, as I mentioned before, I am simply curious about the young man my granddaughter is so interested in. I would appreciate it if you would continue.
Jiro: Where do I start? I guess it was back at my school's orientation for first year students. That's where I met her...
----------
At the Hanasakiagwa front entrance, Hina introduced me to her first-year class representative.Sakiko: My name is Sakiko Togawa, I hope we can become friends.
Jiro: Likewise. Do you have any hobbies?
Sakiko: Yes, I love playing piano and composing music. I actually attend Haneoka on a scholarship.
Jiro: Well, aren't you a talented girl?
Sakiko: Thank you, Senpai.
My first impression of her was that she was a dignified and polite young lady, ignorant of the fact she hid a darker side. A week later, my boss asked me to check out the band Ave Mujica; I was surprised to discover that the band was led by Sakiko, whom I recognized even through her black mask.
