354.Second marriage is illegal

"Pffft....Hahahaha..." Mark almost slipped off the bed as he laughed; he couldn't control it anymore.

Tears threatened to fall from the corner of his eyes as he pressed his hand on his mouth trying to control his laughter.

The sound of his laughter attracted everyone's attention in an instant.

Jackson, who was glaring at Jungkook tilted his head to the side only to be entranced by the sight.

Mark's silver hair was all messy as his fingers waved through them while his other palm covered his mouth as he tried to stop laughing. There was something about the sight that.... that made his heart skip a beat.

The man was so beautiful!

"Fuck..." he muttered under his breath before averting his gaze. What was he thinking about?

Lisa slapped Mark's back, "What is so funny?"

"Lili, I think we just...Hahaha...we just relived the last scene of Sleeping beauty..." He pursed his lips to stifle his laughter, "Pfft...It just that our prince kissed the beauty so hard so much so that she woke up when she was breathless."

Lisa pursed her lips. Her ears turned red because of embarrassment. Now that she thought, there was an audience for their kiss.

She looked at Jungkook but the culprit was looking at her expressionlessly.

"So, you don't know why I was pretending?" Looking at his blank face, Lisa continued, "I was worried that as soon as I open my eyes, you would leave."

Jungkook was speechless.

"Is that guilt I am seeing on your face?" She narrowed her eyes. This heartless man, he truly planned that.

"Game?" Jungkook narrowed his eyes.

She sighed, "Fine fine... Whatever this is... You either tell the truth or else I will divorce you and marry my pretty secretary over there," She pointed her finger towards Mina who was standing at the corner.

The temperature in the room as Jungkook tilted his head to the side to look at the Secretary she mentioned.

At that time, he had not believed that but seems like Grandpa Kim was not lying when he said that.

Mark was speechless but he did not think that his friend's lame way of threatening Jungkook would actually work on him. The man looked like he was about to send Mina to hell.

Jackson, on the other hand, was a little bit surprised at the couple's interaction. He never thought Jungkook would be like an innocent lamb in front of his woman. Moreover, what was out of his expectation that they were married. No wonder... No wonder the pretty lady looked like she was about to kill someone when he was treating her like a stranger.

And, then there was Jaehyun, who still had his head lowered such as one couldn't see his reaction.

"I did not agree to divorce," Jungkook looked back at Lisa coldly, "Second marriage is illegal."

"Huh? You think I am afraid of authorities?" asked Lisa without much of an expression.

He sighed. She was not afraid of them. How could he forget how she dealt with Mo Bao back then? Those higher-ups were almost wagging their tails in front of her.

Lisa laughed inwardly. Looks like her grandpa really printed her as a lesbian in his mind.

Jungkook felt a headache realizing how difficult it was to handle a capable wife. "Fine, I'll say everything. But before that.." He paused before looking at Jaehyun who was standing at a corner silently.

Lisa followed his gaze, "In fact, I was the one who did not allow him to come with me. You don't need to punish him, he was just following my orders."

Jackson narrowed his eyes. This was Jaehyun, the rumored captain of Mo Elites? He was readily becoming someone's bodyguard. It made him curious about Lisa's identity.

Lisa was speechless. Turns out the man was a masochist. "Let bygones be bygones," She did not doubt his loyalty towards Jungkook. The day she was trapped in that maze, he fought with those hundred mercenaries alone.

Anyways, as long as he did not overstep his boundaries, she did not feel the need to dwell on the past anymore.

"Speak," She glanced at Jungkook. This time, she would not let him go.

"I will speak but you must go back after that."

"Why?" She narrowed her eyes, must he dwell on that?

Jungkook stood up from the hospital bed before walking towards the floor-to-ceiling window. Leaning on the wall, he looked at the stars in the deep sky.

The rest of the people looked at the man's back and somehow it felt like he was so lonely.

Lisa felt a slight ache in her chest, "Jungkook, you...I can take care of myself."

"Take care of yourself?" He turned around to look at her, arms folded across his chest, the man looked at her with his bottomless azure eyes, "Is this how you take care of yourself?" asked Jungkook.
