(this was meant to be uploaded on his birthday, butttt i forgot cause i was playing roblox)

The soft hum of the city outside barely reached your ears as you stood in front of the mirror, adjusting the collar of the green tracksuit. You grinned at the sight—number 120 printed clearly on the chest. It fit surprisingly well.

Tonight was Sunghoon’s birthday, and you wanted to surprise him with something fun. He had poured so much of himself into his role in squid game, and you knew how much it meant to him. What better way to make him smile than to bring his character to life, just for tonight?

The door creaked as you stepped into the dimly lit apartment, the glow of candles casting flickering shadows against the walls. Sunghoon stood near the table, his phone in his hands, his brows furrowed in focus. At the sound of your footsteps, he looked up—and froze.

For a moment, silence stretched between you. His eyes widened, lips parting slightly as he took in your outfit. Then, like the sun breaking through clouds, a grin spread across his face.

"No way," he murmured, stepping closer. "You're wearing Hyunju’s tracksuit?"

You playfully tugged at the sleeve. "Well, you worked so hard on this role—I figured it was only right to honor it. Happy birthday, Baby."

He laughed, running a hand through his hair, his gaze never leaving yours. "This might be the best birthday present I’ve ever gotten. You look... really good in it."

You smirked. "I know."

His laughter was warm, filling the space between you. Before he could say anything else, you reached into your pocket and pulled out a small box. "I got you something else too."

Sunghoon took the box, eyes flickering with curiosity before he lifted the lid. Inside, a simple silver bracelet rested against the cushion, engraved with a tiny 120 on the inside. His lips parted slightly, and when he looked up at you again, something softer shone in his expression.

"I love it," he said, his voice quieter now. "Thank you."

His fingers brushed yours as he closed the box, the warmth of his touch lingering. Your heartbeat quickened. The playful energy between you shifted into something deeper, something that had been simmering beneath the surface for a long time.

"You know," he murmured, his fingers tracing the edge of your sleeve, "you really didn’t have to go this far. But I’m glad you did."

"Are you?" you teased. "Because I think it’s only fair you thank me properly."

He chuckled, shaking his head slightly before his hand came up to cup your cheek. His thumb brushed over your skin, sending a shiver down your spine. "You're right. I should."

Then he leaned in, his lips meeting yours in a slow, deliberate kiss. Warmth spread through your chest, melting into every inch of you as he pulled you closer. His other arm wrapped around your waist, pressing you firmly against him as if anchoring himself to this moment.

By the time you pulled away, breathless, he was still grinning. "You really do know how to surprise me."

You smiled, resting your forehead against his. "Of course, It's all for you."
