Run, Alpha, Run

Chapter 2

We ran for about three hours stoping about four miles outside of Shadow Moon pack. We shifted into our human forms and changed quickly into clothes. the only downfall of not being a pack is no mind link.

"All right everyone you know the deal." they nodded and we ran the rest of the way in our human forms stoping literally on the edge of their territory. I fold my arms across my chest pushing up my boobs as a patrol came into view. it was an all male border patrol. perfect. They recognized Esmerelda quickly and they glared at her, but then they saw me, I could feel the leaders eyes practically raping me and I relaxed my stance fighting the bile that rose in my throat.

"Rogues," he said fliping his scraggly blonde hair to the side so that it was out of the way of his ice blue eyes.

I bit back the sarcastic words on the tip of my tongue, "Yes, " I said my voice coming out as soft and smooth as honey, "We are just passing through so let us go and we won't hurt anyone."

"How about you come over here I introduce you to my bed and your friends are escorted around our territory." I smiled God how I loved to tease men. I stepped over the boundary and all of them hissed except the leader, he was smirking. I got right in front of his face close enough to kiss him.

"How about...no. we are crossing through your land."

"Then you're not making it out alive."

I took a small step forward closing what ever space there was between us.

"Do you know who I am." I asked. I heard the slight growls around me and I knew the others had shifted. "Let me help, my name is Atera." I saw his eyes widen in fear and he stumbled back. I laughed. "So are you going to let us through." I asked making my voice slightly husky.

"N-no." he said his voice shaking.

"Well thats just too bad." I said smirking and turning into my wolf. I growled menacingly at them and they cowered in fear turning into their wolves. my wolves ran past them leaving me to deal with the pack idiots. I dug my paws into the ground ready to launch myself forward. i sized them up before running and just pushing through their tight ranks. I ran catching up to my 'pack' in no time at all. the pack idiots had already told their alpha and he was close on our tail. I sped up know the others would follow in suit. they crossed the border and I was just about to when a huge force impacted my side a I skidded landing on my back with a huge snarling dark brown wolf standing over me. so this was the alpha. I push him off of me and he flew across the little clearing hitting a nearby tree with a sickening crunch. he slid to the ground and I ran over to him using my teeth to grab the scruff of his neck I dragged him away from the tree. the rest of his stupid pack still hadn't arrived. I put a paw on his throat and I growled viciously in his face. like I said I don't respond well to authority. I heard paw steps and I sensed about ten wolves from this assholes pack. I backed away from the alpha but I made sure that he stayed down everytime he made amove to get up I'd snarl at him. God he was weak. I stood face the crappy pack members all of them radiating fear. true I was known as the most feared rogue in the world and no pack wanted me anywhere near them but no one had ever seen my true power. If they had all of these guys including the alpha would be dead in about a minute. Yeah I hate packs but I'm not so mean as to just kill them all in cold blood. plus all of them have mates and I saw what it did to my mom when dad died.

I kept backing up till my back paw touched the invisible territory line. they growled at me but their growls were weak like they wanted me to leave. I saw one of them edge forward trying to be sneaky I growled him and spun around so I was out of their territory.

"She warned you that we would make it through." I turned my head to see Luca walking to me and I gave him a wolfy grin. Luca smiled and we turned and left. the best part was that they couldn't chase us they had no right since we were off their land, it also helped that we were now all in human form.

"Atera you said Dark forrest right?" Chris asked I nodded and I hear Alex gasp. I stop and look over at him confused, "What?"

"Dark Forrest, well that's the strongest pack...in the world." he muttered looking slightly ashamed.

"Do you doubt me? Do you doubt us?" I asked him baffled.

"No it's just you're not only the most feared rogue but also the most wanted."

"So?" I asked feeling like an idiot for not seeing his point.

"This is also a huge pack they have a pretty good chance of catching us and if they do, do you think that we will be spared."

"No, no one thought that Alex." Esmeralda tried to reason with him.

"Well this isn't a pack," he snapped, "we're rogues this is why I left, I refuse to die for anyone save your own god damn skin."

"Wow, Alex I didn't think that you were a coward," I said and he stiffened, no wolf is supposed to even tolerate an insult. I guess I was kinda looking for a fight but he wasn't sadly, "but since you are you can just leave. And anyone else who wants to join him." out the corner of my eye I saw him looking at the others as I stormed off. Fucking cowards.

"Where the hell did that come from?" I looked up to see Chris walking towards me.

"No bullshit Chris who else left?" I asked not really wanting the answer.

He raised his eyebrows, "No one and we're all ready to leave if you are."

"I'm ready." I say slightly shocked, no one else left. Wow.

It takes us a little less than six hours to reach a club about twenty miles away from Dark Forrest. Chris decided that we all needed a stress reduction and normally I don't like humans but right now I'll settle for anything. I put on, basically a long tight black tank top, red pump stilettos and dark make up, I didn't bother brushing my hair making it look like I just rolled out of bed, but in a good way.

We only got in because I flirted with the guard. Humans were too easy.

once we were in the club I stayed away from the drinks. Last time I was drunk, well, lets just say it was unforgettable. I let the flashing lights blind me and the music make my heart vibrate as I danced.

"Heyy babe." I turned to see some guy shamelessly starring at me, I smiled seductively. I might as well have some fun while I was here even if it was with a human. "Do u wanna dance." he slurred and I could tell that he was drunk.

"Sure." he was doing some sort of weird drunk dance while I was slinking around whispering sexily in his ear. By no he probably had a major boner. I smiled slightly.

"How 'bout we get a room sexy." he whispered in an attempt to be seductive. out of the corner of my eye I saw a group of girls glaring at me and I almost laughed, almost. I pouted and made my lip tremble slightly while looking up at drunky, "I don't think you want me." I said in a sad sexy voice.

"What of course I want you." he said panicking and hurriedly kissing me roughly. I wanted to spit.

"Show me." I breathed into his ear.

"God I want you soo much please babe I can't stand it, I've got blue balls."

I grabbed his chin and angled it down to my face putting a hand on his chest. "I'm saving myself for marriage." I whispered my hot breath fanning out across his face. I pushed him back lightly and he stumbled and fell on his ass and I bit back laughter. I walked away giving a little extra swing to my hips as I walked to Luca.

"Atera we need to leave." I looked over at Chris shocked by the urgency in his voice.

"Why?"

"Pack members."

"Why are they this far out?!" I exclaimed, "where's Essie and Elijah?"

"Outside we were looking for you." Luca answered.

We were out of the club in five second, in our normal clothes and running in another thirty.

once we were about five miles from the pack I turned to the others, "Change of plans we're attacking...now."
