KIMIKO HANATE

In an instant the household we once called home ignites in flames, Akame grabs hold of my hand then quickly dragging me outside before the flames reach us. Najenda and Mein quickly move into the nearby woods with the almighty general Budo quickly chasing after them, hopefully they'll be able to escape into the capital.

The young general Rin calmly chases after me and Akame alongside the black haired girl named Kurome.

With a simple snap of his fingers Rin blocks our escape route using a wall of fire. Kurome immediately uses her strange blade to summon a group of undead puppets.

"There's nowhere to run sis...just give up and join my collection!"

The young girl says with a maniacal tone as she points her blade towards Akame while letting out a sadistic smile, meanwhile general Rin was now just staring at me with his dark red eyes.

"Kurome you take care of Akame...Kimiko is my problem to deal with."

Right after finishing that sentence Rin sends out a powerful barrage of fireballs with another snap of his fingers.

I try to jump out of the way but his projectiles somehow change direction midair hitting me with full force as a result sending me flying above the firewall and into the nearby woods.

"Ugh...ouch!"

My consciousness starts to fade, my body was now full of scratches and small wounds. Using up whatever strength I could muster I force myself off the ground and up on my feet.

"You're quite fragile my beloved sister, I expected more from someone related to me. But I suppose you're still nothing more than a beginner compared to your comrades."

The red-eyed man starts bragging as I struggle to remain standing.

"Beloved sister? What the hell are you talking about?"

I ask confused.

"So our parents never told you huh? Well I suppose they must've truly want to forget I ever existed."

Rin says with an angered tone as he smashes his fist against the trunk of a tree letting his guard down for a split second.

Taking advantage of that I jump up only to then swing my red ribbon towards him in a downward motion with full force letting out a barrage of acid, Rin smirks in response to my actions. He swiftly dashes out of the way of the incoming acid with his incredible agility.

"Kimiko...abandon Night Raid and join the empire, there's zero chance your little group will survive this night and I don't want to kill you."

The mysterious general suddenly requests, I stand there for a solid thirty seconds staring at his dark red eyes.

Abandon Night Raid? How could I do that? They're the ones trying to change this corrupted world for the best.

"Rin...I don't know who you are, but I can tell we're somehow related. That said, I will never ever betray my family."

With those courageous words spoken I charge towards the powerful General in front of me ready to kill him using my teigu's powerful acid.

"You leave me no choice Kimiko...perish!"

He shouts causing the ground in front of him to ignite and become lava. With a simple forward hand motion the lava flows towards me with unbelievable speed.
