Cody flipping through his imperial guide manual "those Anti air weapons are... Hydra (Hydra dominatus) and earthshaker platforms" he looked at the earthshaker and couldn't help but compare it to their cannons similar as it is

Grimaldus his retinue and a hundred of steel legion guardsmen watched as the greenskins pour out of their ships like an ocean,

There was a sense of fear in every single guard as they watched their xenos foes charge towards them... Charged towards their city

Artarion couldn't help but chuckle "You have chosen a curious moment to realise that."

Earthshakers fired at an unknown battle cruiser, making the walls vibrate from its fire

'The city has awoken to its duty...' Grimaldus thought 'It is time I did the same.'

He then turned to his brothers "It was my duty to study every soul, every weapon, every metre of this hive. But I have erred, brothers. The High Marshal did not send me here to command." He said almost as if it was a confession

He then added "Until this moment, until I looked upon the enemy myself, I had not resigned myself to dying here. I was… enraged… with Helbrecht for damning me to this exile"

"As were we all" Priamus said aloud his hand gripping his sword "But we will carve a legend here, Reclusiarch. We will make the High Marshal remember the day he sent us here to die."

Many of Grimaldus's retinue nodded as one and this made him smile
