Kims Hospital Reception
"Ha Kwan, regular omega with a head injury."
Na-Ra glanced up from where she was chatting with the familiar front office staff at the sound of a familiar voice. The pristine walls of the hospital glistened under the lights and the rhythmic tapping of keyboards accompanied the faint hum of conversations around her.
Her sharp, calculating gaze fell on Jungkook—a very distraught and distressed low born wolf. Finally, she thought. A look that suited him well.
Did Jimin dump his ass already? Or is he here for something else? No, that can't be. Getting rid of a purebred wolf was illegal and no hospital would allow that without the wolf's intervention. This must be something else. Still that look was so pleasing to her eyes that she couldn't tear her gaze off him.
Where is your pride now? Where is all that audacity?
He looked so out of place and stood out among all the posh looking purebreds in the vicinity.
A tramp will always be a tramp. Jimin should know better. Some branded clothes and polished shoes weren't gonna chase the regular wolf out of him.
"Um...sorry, sir. I think you must be mistaken. We don't take in regular wolves. You should be heading to the Seoul National Healthcare for regular wolves." Na-Ra loved the way the receptionist's tone dripped with condescension.
The regular omega shook his head. "No. He must have arrived in an ambulance just now. Dr. Jia made all the arrangements. Please check your system once."
His nerve to insist. Na-Ra leered at him. Jimin isn't here to protect you today.
"I'm sorry, sir. But Dr. Jia doesn't have any regular omega as her patients. Our hospital doesn't allow—"
"I'm her patient. I came here with Mrs. Park Hye-Jin before. My name is Jeon Jungkook. Just look at the records for once. It's fucking urgent."
Na-Ra scoffed, rolling her eyes. "What's a lowly mutt doing here?" she whispered for the ones nearby to hear but Jungkook was too engrossed in his conversation.
"Some of them are growing brave," the front office staff mumbled under his breath. "They come here all the time expecting help, but we're not here for charity." He snorted.
"Look. Please. It's a matter of life and death. Do you have to think about our societal differences even in this situation? It's just gonna take a couple of seconds."
"What's your friend's name again?"
"Kwan. Ha Kwan."
Na-Ra chuckled. "Let him beg all he wants. He can't afford shit."
The front office manager agreed, stifling his laughter.
"Why is he looking for Jia? Did his friend get knocked up as well?" Na-Ra wondered and the front office manager raised his brow.
"And why would Dr. Jia take on someone like him?" He lowered his voice.
Na-Ra chuckled, the sound of it full of malice. "Because he's just not any omega," she replied absent-mindedly.
"Yeah?" He leaned forward. "What's the tea?"
Na-Ra leaned too. "He's a whore who spreads his legs for money. Bitch is carrying an abomination. I don't know if it's even true or just a drama to drain his sugar daddy's bank account."
