I quickly placed down the cupcakes & I tried my best to make it out of there without him seeing me but I guess that it was too late because I felt someone tap me on my shoulder.
"Damn Yn... Is that you?"-Chresanto asked
"Mhmm"-I rolled my eyes
"You look soo good"-Chresanto complimented
"I know"-I said
"Come on we are no longer teens, can we just get past it?"-Chresanto asked
"Uhhh.... NO"-I scoffed and prepared to walk away but he grabbed me
"What nigga?"-I asked
"Wheres our son?"-Chresanto asked
"Oh why do you suddenly care now huh? Do didn't care back when-"
"Mommy"-CJ and a few friends came up to me
"Yes CJ?"-I asked
"Are you gonna stay here or are you going to leave?"-CJ asked while eyeing down Chresanto
"I'll see baby"-I rubbed his hair
"Cool"-CJ said and went to wherever with his friends but then returned
"Momma, who is this?"-CJ asked
"We'll talk later, look your friends are waiting for you"-I said pointing to his friends who were waiting for him
"Okay"-CJ nodded and ran off to his friends
"Wow, that's my son"-Chresanto said as he watched CJ run off
"Uh.. That's MY son. Get it right"-I rolled my eyes
"Damn, why you gotta be like that?"-Chresanto asked
"Well lets see, you wasn't there when I was pregnant, you wasn't there to help buy anything for CJ nor set up his room before he was about to be born... Hmm oh yeah and you wasn't there when I was giving birth. Yes, CJ is MY son"-I said and I left Chresanto speechless
"I don't know what I have to do to make you forgive me, Yn. Honestly, what does it take?"-Chresanto asked
"Nothing, I don't care the fact that you feel bad or whatever, you should have known not to cheat in the first place especially the fact you KNEW that I was pregnant. You can miss me with that shit because me, I care for my baby and I forever will, we don't need you Chresanto"-I looked him in the eyes
"Don't do this. I really wanna be in my son's life, I want to make a change for the better"-Chresanto pleaded
"No! I will not ever make a mistake like that ever again in my life, okay? I am fed up and tired of your bullshit"-I said between gritted teeth
"Oh Yn, it looks like you've met Chresanto"-Ramiro walked to us
"Looks like I have"-I said sarcastically and fake laughed
"Isn't she just a beauty?"-Ramiro asked Chresanto
"Yes she sure is"-Chresanto cheesed and I fake smiled
"Haha. Well I'll be by the pool so I'll see y'all later"-Ramiro patted Chresanto's back and walked away
"I just wanna catch up with you Yn. That's all I ask and the least I could do"-Chresanto said
"Look I-"
"Baby, try this shish-kebab it is soo good"-The random lady interrupted
"Mmmm, this is good"-Chresanto nodded
