Alexis POV
After long plane rides and airport visits we finally arrive to the very last airport. Home. We get off the plane and walk into the airport, we collect our bags and then head outside
"Finally" I say looking around at the warm sun and all of the beautiful trees.
"Feels good doesn't it." Luke smiles at me
"Hell yeah it does." I say
"What do you think buddy?" Luke asks Hunter, Hunter grins and laughs and I smile watching him. We get into a taxi
"Where to?" The guy asks. Luke gives the guy our address and he starts to drive
"When should we leave for Florida?" Luke asks me
"Idk maybe in a week or something." I say watching out the window
"Sounds good." Luke takes a hold of my hand. I smile at him and continue to watch out the window at all the cars and all the pretty California views
"I'm so ready to be home." I say laying my head onto Luke's shoulder
"I am to." Luke says running my hand gently with his thumb and then kissing the top of my head. The taxi driver pulls into the apartment parking lot
"Thank you sir." Luke says and pays the man, we get out and grab our bags out of the trunk. We walk up to our apartment door and stand there for a few seconds while Luke tries to find his keys
"Where home buddy" I tell Hunter and Hunter grins wide. I watch as Luke unlocks the door and then swings the large door open, we pick up our bags and walk inside the apartment. I take a deep breathe in and smile wide, I sit down Hunter and carry the luggage into me and Luke's bedroom, I lay down the suitcases and walk back out and take a seat onto the couch, Hunter crawls over to a bin with some of his toys in it, I watch as he takes out every toy one by one and kisses and hugs them, I giggle at him
"Your gonna have to pick those all back up yourself buddy." Luke says as he takes a seat beside me, Hunter grins and nods his head a little bit, I lay my head on Luke's shoulder
"Where good parents i think." I say
"I think we are to baby." Luke smiles small. My smile slowly disappears as I put my hand on my stomach and try to stop tears from forming into my eyes.
"Oh baby.." Luke says and holds me close to him
"It hurts." I say burying my face into his chest
"I know princess." Luke says and rubs my back
"Can we try for another one..? Not right away but.." I say
"Of course." He says looking down at me, I look at him and kiss him gently, he kisses back and then we pull away.
"Why don't I just go pick up some dinner somewhere for us?" Luke says and I nod
"That'd be wonderful.." I say and Luke smiles wide and flips his hair
"I still am in love with your hair flip please never cut it." I tell him watching him
"Oh you do?" He laughs
"I dooooo" I say and grin
"Okay okay." Luke laughs and grabs his car keys, I watch him
"Hurry back." I pout
"I will." He winks and rushes out. I look over at Hunter
"What do you wanna do buddy?" I say as I watch him slowly picking up each and every toy he got out.
"How about we watch some Dora?" I say grabbing the tv remote and switching on the tv, Dora turns on right away and Hunter grins wide and crawls over to me, I pick him up and sit him on the couch beside me, he watches the TV intensely and I lay my head back warn out from jet lag and just traveling in general. I close my eyes and am half asleep when I have horrible feelings in my stomach, I jump up and run into the bathroom.
Luke's POV
After getting some takeout food I drive back home and walk inside, I look in the living room and look around
"Hunter where's mommy?" I ask and Hunter looks at me with confusion on his face. I sit the food onto the counter and walk around the apartment, I walk into the hallway and knock on the bathroom door.
"Alexis are you in there?" I ask. As I say that I hear the door unlock so I back away, she opens the door with tears in her eyes
"I officially am no longer pregnant.." She says as her voice cracks.
"Oh Baby.." I say hugging her tightly and bringing her into my chest as I squeeze her gently, she buries her face into my chest and sobs hard, I can't help but cry also. We would've had another beautiful daughter or a handsome son.
"I got takeout do you wanna eat..?" I ask she nods and we walk into the kitchen, she grabs her food off of the counter and I grab mine
"I'll just let Hunter feed off of mine." She says and takes a seat on the couch beside Hunter again and starts feeding herself and him. I stand behind the kitchen counter and watch her, tears stream down my face as I watch them together, I take my food and walk into the bedroom , I sit on the large bed and start to eat as I sob and watch some tv.
Alexis POV
As soon as I finish my supper I stand up and take the trash to the trash can and then I walk back to the bedroom, I open the door slowly and look at Luke who's laying with his back turned to the door, his dinner that he's barely touched is laying on the night stand and I can hear gentle crying, I walk over to him and lay beside him from behind, I wrap my arms gently around his waist
"Luke" I say
"Hm.." He says sniffing and wipping his eyes
"Turn around baby." I tell him, I let go of him and scoot a little farther away so he can turn around to face me and he does.
"What?" He asks
"It's going to be okay" I tell him and plant a gentle kiss on his cheek
"I know it's just... sad." He says and starts crying again
"I know I know" I say hugging him and holding him tight.
"Don't leave me Alexis" he Says in between crying
"Hey why on earth would I leave you?"
"Just please don't leave me" he mutters as he closes his eyes crying hard
"I'm not going anywhere Luke.." I tell him and he nods slowly. I sigh gently and hold him closely.
"It's okay." I whisper in his ear and rub his back
"It's going to be okay" I repeat to myself
