Raquelle sat on the couch at her dad's house with her laptop in her lap. "I should've gotten my dress custom made." She groaned.
She and Monse were looking for prom dresses but Raquelle wasn't having any luck.
Monse turned her own laptop. "What about this one?"
"That's cute for you." Raquelle told her. She looked back at her laptop and scrolled until she found a dress. "Oouu, what do you think of this?" She turned the screen.
"That's soooo cute but it's see through." Monse pointed out.
"Yeah but like, I can just wear nude underwear." Raquelle added it to her cart. Prom was coming up fast and she didn't have time to waste. She typed in her card info before purchasing the dress along with a long white one.
"I hope they come in time or I'll cry." She said shutting her computer.
"Prom isn't until May, it's the end of February. You have more than enough time." Monse said.
"That's what you think until everything starts creeping up on you." Raquelle muttered.
"Hey, sorry about the fight between you and Vero. It was all my fault." Monse apologized.
"Girl, it was bound to happen anyways. I'm not tripping because I didn't get my ass beat." She flipped some hair over her shoulder. "Plus, I like not going to school."
"Yeah but I feel really bad about what happened. I shouldn't have slept with Cesar because I know how I felt when he slept with that girl who worked at the joint." Monse sighed.
"Yeahhh, that wasn't very girl's girl of you." Raquelle made a yikes face. Before she could say anything else, her phone started ringing. She picked it up and answered Carlos's call.
"Yes?"
"Mamas, you know these fools finna meet up with Lil Ricky. I'ma go with them so I'll be home late." He told her.
"Ok, that's fine. Have fun." She said. They talked a little longer before hanging up.
She really had the day to herself since Saint was with Rio's mom and now Carlos would be out late.
"You going to meet Lil Ricky too?" She asked Monse.
