*Arden's POV*

I rush to the hospital , panicked thinking the worst . What if Cody doesn't make it ? What if I could have prevented it? If only I hadn't stayed after trying to bring my grade up Cody would be fine.
I barge into the hospital look for Cassie . I spot her around a group of people.  I see Cody's dad & run up to hug him
"Mr.herbinko is he okay?"
Mr.herbinko looks at me sadly & I feel a knot in my throat.
"They don't know yet Arden . you can go see him if you'd like"
I quickly head to the room & sit beside him. 
Poor Cody, so helpless, so dull. He looks almost lifeless. All the machines hooked up to him helping him breathe , I take his hand & begin talking to him.
"Cody please wake up, you're strong I know you are . you can do it babe , just wake up. You're going to be okay. Don't leave me Cody , you know I can't do this on my own , I can't stay strong on my own . please wake up I need you . I'm in love  with you Cody , I can't loose you now, I can't loose you ever."
I feel his hand tighten on mine & quickly go call the nurse , she tells us not to get to happy it was probably just a nerve . It wasn't , Cody was gonna be okay & I knew it . I felt it in my heart, expressing my love for him & he moves , it wasn't a coincidence   I knew he would survive & pull through.
I head back to the waiting room with Mr.herbinko & the others to wait.
I haven't been home in 3 days & I won't go home until Cody wakes up. 
*another week passes *
I'm sitting with Cody telling him how much I love him & need him when he wakes up.  I scream for the nurse & she rushes in . Codys okay, my boy is gonna survive !
They keep him on watch for 3 more days to make sure he's okay & I stay .
"Did you go home yet "
He asks.
"Yes I sent to change & get food, clothes, my laptop & my charger , no once have I left your side "
"I know why , I heard you... "
"I knew you did , you showed me a sign as soon as I came clean . it made me never lose hope . "
"Arden . " he looks at me & smiles.
"Arden, I like you too...I always have its just , I didn't think you saw me as more than a friend"
There's a Long pause & I decide to just kiss him. It was a long passionate kiss , tongue included . I had wanted it for so long & I finally got it.
"Listen Arden , I never been the romantic type , as you're about to see , but how about we make us official ? "
"*blushes*,of course Cody , I thought you'd never ask"
