Scott was leaning against my locker, souring the incredible good mood that chemistry had put me in. He slid over so I could get to my locker.

"A fight on the first day, Blaze? Dad isn't gonna be happy." I glared at him as I shoved a couple books in my locker.

"Wow, you really know how to kill a high, Scott,"

I thought Scott's eyes were gonna bug out of his head. "Jesus fucking Christ Blaze!  Your high in school? !" I zipped my bag, stood and gave Scott a dead look. God he was a damn moron.

"Yes, Scott." My voice was flat, "I smoked a doobie in the bathroom before chemistry, only way to get through school."  I slammed my locker closed, walking off to leave Scott sputtering  angrily. My brother was an idiot. I never touched drugs, not even legal ones like pot.

When I finally hit the student parking lot, I saw the blonde triplets gathered around my bike, looking like they wanted to slaughter something. Where was Lacey? I looked around but all I saw was the other two girls leaning against one of the white sedans. I sighed, knowing what was coming. They stood side by side, arms crossed, blocking me from my bike.

"We saw you with our sister at lunch." Triplet  A. I arched a so, what?  eyebrow at them.  "So, we asked around about you." Apparently triplet  A had been elected as mouthpiece. "Your a real piece of work, aren't you?  We heard all about your 'conquests'. Did you rape all of them, or did you manage to fool a couple?" I gave them the dead look I had perfected. That didn't take long.  It looked like they managed to find the worst of the rumors, about all the girls I had raped. I wondered what they'd say if they knew the truth about those girls. How they forced their attentions on me. How I'd rejected them, sometimes having to physically push them away to get away from them. How they'd been mad so they told their girlfriends I'd raped them. Triplet A stalked closer and poked a finger  in my chest. Normally I'd have broken that finger but I wasn't going to hurt Lacey's brothers. "Stay the hell away from our sister, if we find you've touched her, you won't walk away from us." Did Lacey  know her brothers were here? Somehow I had a feeling she'd be pissed if she knew.

I shrugged, "Gonna be hard to stay away from her when she's my chemistry partner."

"We'll fix that. Just stay away from our sister." Triplet  A shoved my shoulder and they all walked to the sedans, taking off moments later, without Lacey. It didn't matter what her brothers said, the only way I would leave Lacey alone was if she told me too.

Miles was walking up as they left. "What was that all about?" he asked, nodding his head at the blondes, blue tipped locks swinging.

I shook my head, "Nothing, don't worry about it." I wasn't quite ready to share Lacey with anyone, " You should be worrying about that girl that made you blush today. Twice." I teased him, chuckling when he blushed again and mumbled, "shut up". I ruffled his hair and he glared at me. "C'mon. lets go home so I can get yelled at." We hopped on the bike and took off.

Dad was waiting for me, a thunderous expression on his face. Miles shot me a sympathetic look as he slid off the bike and ran into the house.

"Garage. Now." Oh shit. Dad's voice was quiet and dead even. I'd rather he was cussing and screaming. I followed him into the garage without a word. He closed the door quietly behind us before turning to pierce me with his dark eyes. Maybe I should have said something. Maybe if I was to show I regretted what I had done It wouldn't be so bad. Instead I lounged back against the wall and met his gaze with angry green eyes.
