~Mari's mom Mansion~

Mari waited impatiently in front of the "punishment room". No sound was heard from the inside. But her mom has promised that she'll finally release Ren. So Mari waited.

After some time, the door unlock. Ren's body fall but was caught by Mari. His body is full with bruises and blood.

"Ren! Ren!" Mari called as she tried to shake him awake but to no avail.

"Rest assured dear. He's alive. He just needs a little rest," Mari's mom appears from the room with a wicked motherly smile.

Mari glares at her mother. But her mother just shrugs and walk away, as if she never did anything wrong.

"... Ren... Please wake up," Mari called again. But Ren's body is limp.

"... Ma... Ri?" His voice is sore. But is audible to Mari's ears.

"Yeah. It's me, Let's get you out." Mari said with a smile of relief from hearing his voice. With that, she helped Ren to stand up as they walk away.

Ren grunts, each step feels like he's stepping on road of needles. He leans his weight onto Mari for support as she helped him to his room.

~Elemental Siblings house~

Earthquake wakes up and stretch his body. He then started his morning routine from showering then make breakfast of course.

He went to the bathroom first to wash his face and brush his teeth, before taking a bath. After he's done cleaning himself up, he goes to the kitchen and start prepping for whatever he wants to cook.

He thought about what he wants to cook. Today, he's extremely peaceful. As if he has a feeling that nothing bad can happen today.

'hm... What should I cook?' he asks himself.

'Right! Thorn and Solar will stay at home today so I should probably cook extra. Hm... I'll just cook some waffles!' he thought to himself, smiling to his idea. Unbeknownst to him that a ghostly figure is approaching him from behind.

"QUAKE!"

"AAH-"

Cyclone quickly covered his little brother mouth before Earthquake can scream and wake others up.

Earthquake, who's finally realised who that "ghostly figure" is, turn around to face his brother.

"Brother Cy! You startled me!" Earthquake says, tried breaking free from his brother hold but Cyclone keep holding him close.

"Hehe~ sorry Quake, you're just easy to tease, and startles apparently," Cyclone grins unapologetically.

"Jeez... You always do that. Do you love watching Quake startle?" Earthquake asks, still trying to break free from his brother hug.

"Honestly? Yeah. It's fun watching your startled face," Cyclone reply with no hint of regret. Only a teasing smirk and amusement etched on his face.

Earthquake looks like he just got betrayed. Cyclone chuckles at his little brother reaction.

"Hmph. Let go Brother Cy," Earthquake says, still trying to break free from Cyclone's hug.
