Proposal (3 out 5 Rin Matsuoka)

Rin was the type of boyfriend to do simple things, you also liked simple things, so he decided to keep the proposal nice and ordinary.

It was the annual cherry blossom festival, and both of you went every year since you were kids. That was until Rin left for Australia. You lost contact with each other and you stopped going to the festival, even when he came back. He sent Gou to buy 2 yukatas for him and you. 

When she came back, she bought a black and red yukata for Rin, and a beautiful (Y/F/C) yukata with a black obi (belt). 

You came home from your long day at work. People were hustling to buy essentials for tonight's cherry blossom festival. You wanted to go, but you knew Rin wouldn't want to. "(Y/N)-chan!", Gou yelled from outside. You opened the door and Gou shoved the beautiful yukata in front of you. "Eh? What's this for?", you asked. Gou shook her head, "Never mind that, let's go get you ready for the cherry blossom festival!", she ushered you up the stairs and started doing your hair and make up.

After all that, you felt so feminine. Your eyelashes were highly noticeable, your lips were a beautiful shade of light pink, and your hair was in an elegant up-do. You thanked Gou and proceeded to get dressed in your yukata. The use of (Y/F/C) complimented your skin tone. You tied the obi to hug your curves tightly, showing off your hourglass figure. You tucked a stray hair behind your ear, before opening the door to show Gou. She gasped at your beauty and dragged you downstairs. 

Rin looked at you in admiration as his sister brought you downstairs. The neckline of the yukata was revealing your cleavage a bit. "Rin, it's rude to stare.", you teased. He snapped out of his trance and chuckled, "How can I not stare when you look like that? You look...beautiful..", he breathed out. After putting on your sandals, you headed out and enjoyed each others company.

Rin won you a little stuffed shark from one of the booths. "Rin! Hurry! The fireworks are about to start!", you tried to get a good spot to view the fireworks. You finally found a good spot and settled down. You rested your head on Rin's shoulder, enjoying the loud bang and colors of the fireworks. There was one in particular that made you remove your head from his shoulder and gape at it. You looked at the fireworks in amazement, Rin looking at you. Your eyes were opened wide and you had a giant smile on your face. 

The firework display ended, everyone had left already. Finally, you stood up and stretched. You noticed that Rin hasn't stood up yet, "Rin? You ready to go?", you asked, placing your hand on his shoulder. Rin tried to kneel on his right knee, but the yukata was preventing him to. You giggled at his struggles until he finally got into the position he wanted. He pulled a box from inside of his yukata. Your hands immediately flew in front of your mouth, gasping quietly. 

He let out a shaky breath, "(Y/N), we've known each other since we were kids. From those days, I knew that you had  to be the one I married. You've been there for me, throughout my dad's death, even when I move to Australia. And I want you to be there for me in the future...So, will you marry me?", he opened the velvet box, revealing a beautiful simple diamond ring. You nodded, but you noticed something about the ring. It wasn't just any other ring...It was Rin's mother's...

"Isn't that..your mom's?", you asked. He nodded and proceeded to slip the ring on your left ring finger. "She wanted you to have it. She hopes for us to have a happy married life, like what she had with my dad.", he brought you to a close hug, embracing you tightly. You smiled and let a few stray tears slip out. "This is by far the best cherry blossom festival, ever"
