Vanelle's P.O.V.
I kinda liked how the 'meeting' went. Hopefully  nothing changed.

×Next Morning ×

I did my morning routine and got a text from Devin.

I'm coming in 10 with Kevin and Daniel

I didn't have gym today so I wore a long black skirt with a slit up the side. White flip flops. A black and white stripped sleeveless crop top.

And I sat on my phone in the living room waiting for them.

beep beeeeep.

I walked out and i don't know why but Kevin got out the front seat, left the door open for me, then sat in back.

I held onto my skirt so it didn't get dirty on the ground.

I sat down and place everything on the ground.
And then I started humming to a song:

'So I see you like that song.' He said looking at the slit in my leg then back at me.

The song was Cassey Veggies Life Changes

'Oh. Yeah. Its stuck in my head because of YOU.'I said looking ahead.

He mumbled something but I didn't quiet hear it. But I guess Kevin and Daniel heard it cause they looked crazy at Devin then started laughing.

'You mind if I play it?' He said just about to plug in his phone.

'No its fine.' I said. The music started to play and I hummed along

×At School×

The boys went to their homeroom and I went to go find Aniya. Crazy I know. But I still felt bad about me causing them to break up.

'Aniya???' She turned around her face looked fucked up but I didn't say anything 'Devin said if you asked him back out he may say yes.'

'I don't know. I'm afraid his best friend is gonna attack me again.' She said.

'Look I'm sorry. Can you just go ask him???' I told her.

'Mmm okay.' She said walking off to English.

×end of school day×
Thank God it was the end of the day. I decided to go home with Cleo as she said she was going to sleep over.

I left her in my room as I went downstairs to make popcorn. Until I heard the doorbell ring.

I went to go open it.

'No.' He said smiling. It was Devin

'What do you mean no?' I said.

He opened the door wider and welcomed himself in the house.

'I'm not going to date Aniya ever again' he said finding a seat on my couch.

'Why not?' I said kinda pacing around.

'I'll be back.' Cleo said walking out to get some candy and chips

'Because I don't want to.' he said. He just couldn't stop smiling.

'Why don't you want to?' I stopped and turned at him

'Because,' he stood up and walked to me 'I want you.'

I was never ever this nervous in my life.

'D-Devin what are you doing??'

He started to lean in. I tried to dodge his kiss but I was backed up into a corner.

His lips are soft as hell.

'No. Devin no.' I said trying to push him back

'Why - not?-' he said placing a peck on my neck after each word.

'We are just friends.' I said finally breaking away from his grip.

'But I want to be something more.' he said.

'I just don't know.' I ran upstairs and just sat in my room.

'Vanelle?' Devin said coming up and walking into my room. He found me in the corner and sat down in front of me. 'Is it something bad about me? Am I just not good enough for me?'

'No.' I said getting into his face. I actually wanted to kiss him. This guy leaned back. So I guess I sat on his lap. 'I just thought we'd be better off friends' I said. My eyes could not leave his lips.

'And I think this would be better for us.' He kissed me, passionately, for a while. And I liked it.
